@danterosati I had a benefactor, unfortunately now deceased, who had a very complete collection of Stockhausen recordings and books which he shared with me. (He also gave me a tremendous amount of Cage, Xenakis, and Scelsi music as well).

I think it has been recorded from an LP-that's why the sound is so immediate.
