I don't remember what episode it was but, it was when Harrison was diagnosed with cancer, and he was about to commit suicide when that angel saved him by showing his future, and in the future that he saw, didn't he end up with Sam? So I think he would have chosen Sam over Brooke due to the fact that he knows that he has a future with her..

i can't believe I watched every episode for that ending. I wanted Sam and George to be a happy couple. They were really meant for each other. This show needed a positive couple to end on, and they were it. I don't why they traded that for the bizarre love triangle? It made a mockery of the whole show.

Okay, most people seems to think Harrison chose Brooke, I read an interview with Ryan Murphy where he said what the third season wasgoing to include: Harrison chose Sam, Brooke went brunette, lily and Josh break up, Sam begins to realize she is a lesbian, the high school is turned into a retirement home, Mary Cherry buys Melrose place, and they all get their GED's.

I think he chose Sam just because Broke is always feeling sorry for herself so what she said makes sense. Harrison knew that he was gonna end up with Sam because of that Christmas episode thing, and since Broke is the one who ran out, it makes more sense that he chose Sam. Anyway, this show was way too good to be canceled. Compared to Glee (same writer), I still prefer this show.
@Ronsley Actually if you pay attention to their tones, body language & expressions, it's easy to tell that Harrison chose Brook. Brook is the first to speak & says "This is not what I wanted." (earlier in the episode she admitted she wanted Harrison to choose Sam.) She keeps running from Sam & defending herself, indicating guilt. Meanwhile, Sam is crying & states that his choice is not what she wanted (it became clear earlier on that she still really wanted Harrison.)
this show was great. and what a finale it was very powerful and to think there was never a 3rd season. see this is why shows never end on a cliff hanger cuz u never know when ur season finale would ever be a series finale. but i do know the creator said if the show went on to a 3rd season than he would make sam gay which is strange. also sugar daddy was shown but didnt have any lines. what a crap role he got in this show

I was in like I dunno 7th or 8th grd and I remember watching this and freaking out... I stayed up like everyday till 12 o clock to watch this show... I thought there was gonna be a next episode .. but I ended up falling asleep at like 11 I woke up and turned to the station it was playing on and they started to play the first episode again.. Lol actually i feel like this was totally out of character of Nicole. She was the average bitch but not homicidal. "This is not what WE wanted" and Sam says "This is not what I wanted Brooke!" I don't think she's upset that he chose Sam i think she's upset that he didn't choose either because he couldn't choose.

They would take the Hit-and-run case to court. Nicole's explanation would have been that she was given lots of alcohol by Brooke's father Mike, which also had raped her (according to Nicole). Later, Brooke would forgive her, along with Sam. Probably she's back to nice-girl Nicole for an half episode or so, like before...

Ok everyone, after hours of researching, I came upon an old article on an old WB web page. Producer of Popular, Ryan Murphy explained in details what would have happened in the unaired, but already planned-out season 3:
Brooke would have been in a coma for four month. Nicole being on the run while so. Harrison actually chose Brooke, and she stormed out of the restaurant that night because Sam was totally upset, and it would ruine their new-found friendship... Continues...
We know Sam become's a lesbian but it would have to be somebody new and close to what she is going through because of Brookes accident. Maybe Brookes nurse!!! Maybe in an insane plot twist its Nicole (I would want to kiss Sam) after her breakdown. Sounding impossible... they would have to forgive her if she going to stay in the show... maybe after 10 episodes. I can see Brooke being first cause she is so forgiving. Ok Y'all... Here's the true story. When season 1 was aired it aired on wednesday nights. Leaving us teens to desperately watch each and every episode while we were putting of our homework. Season 2 on the other hand, was aired on friday nights instead. So even though ratings was really good during season 1, moving it to friday nights killed the ratings, causing the death of this show.
I assumed he chose sam because brooke was the first one to get up from the table and storm out. remember, at every turn, when he had the chance to really be with brooke he too drawn towards sam. obviously they didn't know it the show would be cancelled when they ended the season as such.
I see that ending, it was stupid to end right there. I also hate the Maybe It's Me ending also, it should not end there also. Can somebody please post that Maybe It's Me ending also, so MIM fans can see it?
And Sam changed in s2. She focused on becoming popular and pretty. She dated George for his looks, body and QB status. Harrison was in love with the old Sam who was the only one who could understand him and the one for him to lean on when he's hurt. But that's true anymore.
after watching all s1 and s2 episodes in 1 week, I can understand why Harrison chose Brooke. In s2, Sam hardly spends any time with Harrison. Harrison said he felt ignored by everyone after he came back from his hospital, hence the "shocking possession" episode. What he actually meant was he was ignored by Sam. Ever since Sam dated George, Sam hardly spent time with Harrison. She saw Harrison as someone to help out when in need but not as someone to spend time to understand and care.

Okay, most people seems to think Harrison chose Brooke, I read an interview with Ryan Murphy where he said what the third season wasgoing to include: Harrison chose Sam, Brooke went brunette, lily and Josh break up, Sam begins to realize she is a lesbian, the high school is turned into a retirement home, Mary Cherry buys Melrose place, and they all get their GED's.

I think he chose Sam just because Broke is always feeling sorry for herself so what she said makes sense. Harrison knew that he was gonna end up with Sam because of that Christmas episode thing, and since Broke is the one who ran out, it makes more sense that he chose Sam. Anyway, this show was way too good to be canceled. Compared to Glee (same writer), I still prefer this show.

@Ronsley Actually if you pay attention to their tones, body language & expressions, it's easy to tell that Harrison chose Brook. Brook is the first to speak & says "This is not what I wanted." (earlier in the episode she admitted she wanted Harrison to choose Sam.) She keeps running from Sam & defending herself, indicating guilt. Meanwhile, Sam is crying & states that his choice is not what she wanted (it became clear earlier on that she still really wanted Harrison.)

this show was great. and what a finale it was very powerful and to think there was never a 3rd season. see this is why shows never end on a cliff hanger cuz u never know when ur season finale would ever be a series finale. but i do know the creator said if the show went on to a 3rd season than he would make sam gay which is strange. also sugar daddy was shown but didnt have any lines. what a crap role he got in this show

I remember when I first watched this show LOVED IT!
I was in like I dunno 7th or 8th grd and I remember watching this and freaking out... I stayed up like everyday till 12 o clock to watch this show... I thought there was gonna be a next episode .. but I ended up falling asleep at like 11 I woke up and turned to the station it was playing on and they started to play the first episode again.. Lol actually i feel like this was totally out of character of Nicole. She was the average bitch but not homicidal. Even with the alcohol i don't think she would be capable of intially kill her bestfriend no matter how drunk or angry. LOL and also i don't understand, if Brooke had the time to slowly put up her hands and scream why didn't she have the time to jump out the way instead lol? Harrison didn't chose either of them and Brooke a little overracted storming out knocking some things down. Sam got up and followed her. Now orginally i thought that he chose Sam but after I watched it a couple more times i realized what Brooke said when they were leaving. "This is not what WE wanted" and Sam says "This is not what I wanted Brooke!" I don't think she's upset that he chose Sam i think she's upset that he didn't choose either because he couldn't choose.

They would take the Hit-and-run case to court. Nicole's explanation would have been that she was given lots of alcohol by Brooke's father Mike, which also had raped her (according to Nicole). Later on, she was accused for temporary insanity during the hit-and-run, and would be free of charge (almost correct, was not that rich on details on the website). Later, Brooke would forgive her, along with Sam. Probably she's back to nice-girl Nicole for an half episode or so, like before...

We know Sam become's a lesbian but it would have to be somebody new and close to what she is going through because of Brookes accident. Maybe Brookes nurse!!! Maybe in an insane plot twist its Nicole (I would want to kiss Sam) after her breakdown. Sounding impossible... they would have to forgive her if she going to stay in the show... maybe after 10 episodes. I can see Brooke being first cause she is so forgiving. As for the rest of the gang...I can only imagine...lol.

I learnt a lot from watching the two seasons. am probably going to be the only person who is happy with the ending hehe, it means I can write my own!!!! I imagine Harrison didnt actually pick either... If he was going to, he would have done so by now... plus its just too obvious!!! (Brooke is always emotional so am not surprised she left). I think he picked none of them, but also after Brooke's accident, I could see him worrying about her and wanting to be near her.

Ok Y'all... Here's the true story. When season 1 was aired it aired on wednesday nights. Leaving us teens to desperately watch each and every episode while we were putting of our homework. Season 2 on the other hand, was aired on friday nights instead. So even though ratings was really good during season 1, moving it to friday nights killed the ratings, causing the death of this show.

And Sam changed in s2. She focused on becoming popular and pretty. She dated George for his looks, body and QB status. Harrison was in love with the old Sam who was the only one who could understand him and the one for him to lean on when he's hurt. But that's true anymore.

after watching all s1 and s2 episodes in 1 week, I can understand why Harrison chose Brooke. In s2, Sam hardly spends any time with Harrison. Harrison said he felt ignored by everyone after he came back from his hospital, hence the "shocking possession" episode. What he actually meant was he was ignored by Sam. Ever since Sam dated George, Sam hardly spent time with Harrison. She saw Harrison as someone to help out when in need but not as someone to spend time to understand and care.
