@sarajasongreenfield The mats don't last forever, they are a consumable item. However if you take a new mat and stick a linty towel to it a few times it takes the edge off the adhesive and the vinyl backing won't stick to it as much. You also may be cutting a little too deep into the backing. Try reducing your pressure a notch and see if you are still cutting through the vinyl.
Hi would you be able to tell me where you got the transfer paper used in the video?? Did it come with the vinyl or do you have to purchase that separately?
I have the same doubt as NEKAADMI I want to know if you can create what ever you want on the computer and then pass it to the cricut, or is it limited to the typography of the machine (cricut) ?
Thanks for your kindly this video to show us, Only two things I like to ask you.
01. Where I can get this cutting vinyl printer?
02. Is this printer we can connect to the computer and do whatever words or sentences we can make with the computer, just like regular printing we doing.
I see that she never responded to your question and I wanted to share my knowledge of the cricut. This does not hook up to a computer. It runs completely by itself. However, you do need cartridges to go with it. The cartridges hold the many fonts & shapes. I hope this helps!
@cbgraphics There are several different Cricut (pronounced like the bug). There is the Cricut V1 (version 1), which was used in this demo. Next there is the Cricut Create, which is the same size as the one in the video with additional fun features. Then there is the Cricut Expression, it is much larger than the other two. The expression holds 12X24 piece of paper. The Cricut Imagine is the newest. It not only cuts shapes it also prints!
Can you please tell me what cartridge you are using in this video? I LOVE this FONT!! Thank you so much, SGB

My vinyl sticks to the mat and I ruin the mat overtime. Is that a special mat you are using or can you tell me what I am doing wrong??

i have one question: is the Cricut effective for exhibition labels?
gallerygirl24 11 months ago
@gallerygirl24 Not really sure if it would be or not. Most likely an exhibition label would be too detailed or too small for the Cricut to work well.

@expressionsvinyl thank you very much!
does anyone have idea what can be effective for exhibition labels? can you give me some advice?
