the most influential part of David's work is that he is the Eastern consciousness's version of F.A. Hayek...
Austrian econ., comes from the right, if you ask a republican they will know about it but call it radical or anarchist
Permaculture comes from the left, if you ask a democrat they will know about it but call it radical or anarchist...
this renaissance is happening whether the elite like it or not, vote Ron Paul in the west, take power from national banks and allow for local innovation
Occupy Wall Street is becoming a platform for Permaculture
You go to OWS and people are there with individual solutions and they only want to define the collective problem... they do not want to ask for a collective solution.
at OWS you are seeing increased apathy against fractional reserve banking which is what Holmgren discusses in his book Beyond Sustainability.
as a Ron Paul fan I say that Permaculture is a practice of a true free market.. one that follows austrian econ, not keynesianism
Mollison, Holmgren, Stuart Hill, some of the smartest people in the world. Oh yes and Holzer too! Fukuoka, has passed on to greater things but he too was one of the greats.
VERY interesting! I'd never heard of "permaculture" before today, but have been thinking for some years now that there must be a more natural way of farming, and that having biomass is important. So I am indeed very interested to hear of this, and am inspired to learn a lot more!
Hi taitungknight, if you're interested in permaculture I strongly recommend the documentary "Establishing a Food Forest the Permaculture Way". Cheers.
