i have the same procesor , but i have a 6770 xfx ati radeon , and this game doesnt runs no way lol , and my video card it was realsed on 2010 or 2011 i dont know , and i have 4 gb .... so what should i do burn my fucking pc?

@ledviades No. The game is poorly optimized because of consoles. It utilizes the CPU all wrong. Hence why some processors run this game at 100% ALL the time, when actually it should be shared across the graphics card.

@jimklay for this game you will need a really fast cpu like a phenom 2 965 or a intel i7. and a video card like 5770 or gtx 460, and you will definitely need 4 gb ram, this game is a monster sometimes even the best PC will fail this game and i would know because i have it and i am over the recommended requirements.

@Tranceislifeful The video is NOT sped up...ignore that guy...lag occurs sometimes with fraps...i cant give you a fps for max settings because i dont have this game anymore...but i can tell you that when it was completely maxed it lagged...it was playable..but rather annoying...like all the details were maxed in this video..but the view disatances were at minimum...so yes and no for maxed hope i helped

@MTLbigJ thats the way to play it on a 9800gt 1gb ... view and detail distance to minimum but everything else to max... and u get great performance and only see less objects in distance ... but overall it doesnt add so much to the visuals so im fine with it

and when i extract heavy things like a 8gb file it goes to 55-60c

and when i play games it goes to extreme 65-72c

I'm planning to buy a Q8400 for GTA4, but I'm really not sure if it would be any better than my current E8200@3.6GHz, wich can be pushed up to 4GHz any time. I know, GTA4 loves quad-core processors, but the Q8x00 series have generally lower oc potential than E8x00 cpus. So i really don't know whether to change or not.

hey can any 1 tell me how to make the screen like in this vid, (The black borders) , when i have nvidia driver v 184 or something it was automatic if i didnt choose the max resolution (like insteed of 1280x1024 i use 1024x720) but after i updated my driver it goes full screen even if its lower than max. tried rolling back to v184 but no change now!!
