(i think its cartoonnetwork) has made it so terrible. but i agree completely. In my whole opinion, May was a much more deep/interesting character. She - let's face it - USED DIFFERENT TYPES OF POKÈMON, she did contests much more, and she just had a more interesting personality.

Note that she also didn't start off being a Pokémaniac/liking Pokémon at all (wanting to exchange all Pokémon in the world for a trip 'round the world), which made her even more interesting; for me, I just wanted to see how it all turned out. Did May get accustomed
