  • Wanna hear something sad? If I said "thumbs up if you have seen the original" I would get one thumbs up. Y U NO SEE ORIGINAL???

  • u need a new camera

  • jensen stared in both oh them

  • Ok, so basically allot of the comments are saying: Gore and blood is awesome and cool, but nudity which is natural is completely wrong and inapropriate.. And if your 11 and are saying that you watch horror movies for gore, not boobs; you should even be watching a movie like this..

  • i like how they thought Avatar would be out in 2009 lol

  • @JAROHEW35 ehhhhh id say freddy but their both pretty equal.. friday the 13th was less scary tho

  • this was uploaded on my birthday :)

  • I wish I saw it in 3D!

  • i loved the end to this movie where jensen ackles is still alive and makes you think that there will be a next one

  • Now 3D is an excuse for bad movies

  • "My Bloody Valentine 3D AMAZING!"

"My Bloody Valentine with no 3D...CRAP!"

  • watched it in 3d the best parts are when the minner throws the pick axe at people, when the fist punches through glass, when a heart flys out from the screen, and when a bullet shoots across the screen

  • i got it in 3D but it doesn't look good

  • Best movie of 2009 (well, almost) ... The Movie Dir (.) com has it.

  • The ending was dissapointing

  • hey, no one mentioned Jensen Ackles =o

    he was great~

  • Indy you are my favorite youtuber but your wrong sorry but there was a rated r 3-d movie b4 this Friday the 13th part 3 in 3-D buts thts o.k we all make mistakes

  • I want porno movies in 3D

  • To: Kondrupersusix

Porno 3-D sounds great. LMASO. That was so funny. Me too. I would love to see it and costar with two hotties

    Jessica Drake and Nicole Sheridan.

  • Friday the 13th is better then mbv

  • friday the 13th was in 3d was in 3D Stupid!

  • @EvilLeparacaun Your the stupid one for not skiming over your sentence making it almost correct with the ''friday the 13th was in 3d was in 3D Stupid'' making absolutely no sense Even though the movie was in 3D this was the first RealD 3D movie

  • ACTUALLY!!!! This is not the first Non kiddie 3-D movie. Friday the 13th Part 3 is.

  • thats true but this is the first R rated 3d movie to be released in RealD 3D

  • well, yeah.

  • ya, but my bloody valentine is the first non kiddie movie to use "two-lens 3-D"... in the two lens 3-D camera, there is two lenses just a couple of millimeter apart...

friday the 13th part 3 used "red and cyan 3-D glasses... for that to work, you have to play the movie two times in two different colours (red in the left side of the screen, and cyan in the right side of the screen)

  • Got me there friend.

  • they obviously havent seen the original cause then they would see how shitty this 3d piece of shit is (it reminds me of the speed racer remake)

  • I'd give this movie a 1. The visual effect that I thought was pretty cool, was when the guy would hit hte lightbulbs in the mine, and he would, like, blink into the killer. Other than that though, this movie was pretty bad. Gory without a supporting plot/storyline.

  • disapointing it was just cheesy and gory, unscary and lame 4/10

  • X! this is not the first rated R 3d movie it was friday the 13th part 3 was

  • i bet the 3d aint as good as it was in the cinema, then again i don't fansy another 1ft pick-axe flying through the screen :S

  • Does the D 3D glasses come with the Bluray or is it the old shitty Red and Blue/Green stuff...

  • 3D Glasses come with blu-ray are Purple-ish and Green... they work alot better then blue and red...

  • the lenses are still colored but it aint the old shitty kind, you can see all the colors and gives the movie a sense of depth. It looks best on a HD tv, or LCD computer monitor. It is great buy it!!!

  • Oki, I bought it, it would be best if they came with none colored glasses, I watched a 3d movie in germany once and they werent colored, the eyes didnt hurt from using them, and if you took the glasses off the picture was blurry. THAT's how it should be on the bluray aswell, I hope this is as good, I hate seeing weirder colors and when I can see the colored outlines in the movies due to the 3d effect.

  • I kinda have an idea for a "Killer Miner" movie concept. Think "My Bloody Valentine" + "The Descent" + The Buoy's 1971 hit "Timothy". There's a mining cave in & the miner's are trapped, yet one or more miners have lost it & start killing & eating miners one-by-one. And the only miners with some sanity left must race against time to stop the killer(s) before they all become "Dinner". Certainly a terrefying, claustrophobic experience....and no need for the old "Screaming Damsel" chestnut.

  • Friday the 13th first rated R 3D movie

  • not in real D 3D

thats what she is talking about

  • 8/10 Loved the film good acting pretty decent slasher film but it wasn't scary AT ALL! Still loved it though probably would buy it on DVD.

  • the first 3D R rated horror movie was FT13 pt 3, followed by Freddy's Dead

  • SHES TALKING ABOUT REAL-D 3-D!!!!

  • i didnt enjoy the movie because some kids were annoying me so bad... but i thought it was good

  • jensen in 3 d how bad can it be lol honestly i hate remakes. i wonder is this is any good?

  • this movie fucking sucked seriously, only the 3d was nice waste of money imo.

  • OMG there has to be a second one :D

  • chool mowie!

  • I actually enjoyed the movie extremely.

  • not first rated r movie... Friday the 13th part 3 3d back in 1980's and jaws 3d

  • ur right, but this is the first r rated real d movie

  • Comment removed

  • I would say Beowulf was the first 'non-kiddy' 3D movie

  • alot of teens just go " YEAH KILL HER KILL HER YAY BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD " in the movie i should know im 14

  • im not saying that i hate female nutidy im just saying that they should cut down on the nutidy becouse 11 year olds like i am would get screwed if their parents found out that one of your horror movies has nudity in it and too much of it. just have a little bit becouse now a days kids like me are watching horror movies

  • oh so the hell wiv heads bein choped off or people geting gutted but if theres any nudity ur not watchin it lol ur parents need to get there prioritys right

  • Rating for movie:9

Rating for the kid below getting some help:10

  • LOL i know what you mean but i understand what he is saying as well. Instead of people talking about the gore, all they talked about was the nudity.

  • so many blood and gore which is good but the nudity, NOW IM FREAKIN 11 YEARS OLD, I DONT GO TO HORROR MOVIES TO SEE A NUDE GIRL WAVE AND BOUNCE HER TITS AROUND, NO FREAKIN NO, I GO TO SEE SOME MAJOR BLOOD, GORE, GOOD DEATHS, AND GRISLY BLOODY CORPSE IMAGES

  • so u enjoy the visuals and nothing else

  • I hear there's pills for that now.

  • that has to be there

  • dude r u gay or something, i bet thats the best part in the film. u should start liking girls. im talking about the nudity part. how do u not like boobs bouncing everyone likes that. most horror movies hav nudity u idiot thats the best part. i bet if u saw a guy naked u would get excited.

  • Good review.

I actually thought this movie was good!

  • I liked it=]

i was suprised by all the blood and gore

    it grossed me out

    but the movie was good

    it gave me the chills

    i give it a 9/10

  • Friday the 13th Part 3: 3-D

    Jaws 3: 3-D

    The Amityville Horror 3-D...

yeah, and these 3D horror movies came out in the 80s

  • don't forget freddy's dead the final nightmare =D

  • you be Freddy's Dead the final suckmare. LOL it was the worst Nightmare film.

  • wait...was this review a joke?....have u seen the 2d version?...that might just drop ur rating from a 9 to a 0 in a heart beat...stupid story...annoying lead guy(that guys voice is almost as annoying as batmans when he talks)

  • It was meant to be a bloody slasher film, not a grammy award winning drama, and not everyone likes the same stuff, some love it some didn't.... in the end it is really a matter of preference. And the actors are good, if there is fault -it is in the script.

  • i liked dis movie but they didn't give us the glasses in 3-d...

  • loved it

    9.5

  • 7/10.

This movie was pretty good, and the 3D was cool too. However, the plot was kinda out there. o.O

  • 9/10

This movie kind of reminded me of Scream.

  • The film was fucking shit

  • 8/10 all the gore plus the retards getting killed almost made this movie a comedy but at the same time a lot of fun to watch with friends.

  • 9/10 it was so fun to watch.

  • 5/10

the acting sucked, the blood was immense, the naked chick getting chased was cool. Hopefully there will be more 3D movies on a better scale

  • 8/10

3D was awesome but the story and acting was not so good

  • the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the scenery was great, good movie but wasnt in 3d

  • I went to see my bloody valtine with my mate's and tbh i shit my self lol

  • get stoned and see this shit, its straiiiiight

  • diz movie wuz so retarted

  • Like your fucking grammar. How the hell can you be taken seriously when you can't even spell 'retarded' correctly?

  • Well, most likely you're just too RETARDED to understand it.

  • haha. she makes me laugh. she's so funny.

  • 9/10

one of the best horror movies made

  • i saw it yesturday it was an awsome birth day gift

  • nice, final destination 4 3-d

  • 9/10

I loved this movie! Everyone says it was so bad but I enjoyed every minute of it. It was never boring, the deaths were gore-packed and intense, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire 110 minutes. I give the makers of this movie props for exceeding the expectations of millions of horror fans out there.

  • not one sentence

  • lol dude im pretty sure. noone cares. how many sentences. are actually punctuated correctly.

  • i really want to see this is looks really good!

  • its actually not rates Restricted its rated 18A

  • lol dude 3d theme came outt a long time before i was born im 21 years old and when i was like 10 i went to a broadway show in manhatten sickk 3d effects some guy was waving around a broom stick at us bugged the fuk outt

  • noo it wasntt lol

  • wasn't beowulf in 3D?

  • yep

  • it was one of the best in ages. your right not as clever as scream-but really no movie , horro has ever come to be as clever as scream, but it was definetly one of the best i seen in a while. see it!

  • i'm not going to wade through all 90+ responses, but i'm hoping someone else mentioned FRIDAY THE 13TH 3(D), from 1982. different 3d technology, granted, but it was strange to hear this movie being calle "the first non-kiddie 3-d movie", when it's certainly not the case, whatsoever.

  • Those older films incorporated 3D as a gimmick, whereas this is the first mainstream film seriously made to be seen in 3D.

  • 9.5/10 I seriously still see pick axes flying at my head if im not paying attention.

  • Good 3D. So don't spam on my comment -.-

  • Dude 3-d didn't come out till like 2000.

  • Back then, their perception of 3-d was spraying water over the audeince when the shark attacks. Kinda like 4-d. but You get the idea.

  • It may be the first R-rated 3D movie, but it's not the first "not for kids" 3D movie. In the 50's there were tons of horror movies in 3D, and there was that crappy Jaws 3D movie.

I haven't seen this one, but I doubt I'll find it scary. Only about 3 out of every 100 horror movies scare me.

  • Haha, you think 18 degrees is low? Try -25 with a wind chill of -45. Yeah. Look at those numbers. And cringe.

  • how about 70 in california?

  • 70's better than numbers in the negatives, obviously.

  • my bloody vagianltime

  • 8.5/10 THE most gory movie I have seen in my entire life! Not the best plot, but the 3D and adrenaline pumping horror violence makes up for it. I'd recommend to all people not faint-of-heart.

  • watch horror fest movies, especially the frontier, those are extremely gory

  • You don't have the review for the movie defiance???

  • I'm afraid not - movies that open limited then go wide are hard for us to cover.

But I personally saw the movie, and I thought it was medium. Not Ed Zwick's best work.

  • So you will not cover about the che guevara movie neither?,those limited movies are always show in ny

  • 9.5/10 but to much nudity if i wanted to see naked girls i would go to a play boy movie ....

  • seen better film on teeth..

  • 3D is just making a comeback. It was big in the 50's and tried again during the late 70's and early 80's. Even motion simulators are 3D now thanks to Simex. But will it just be a fad again?

  • I really hope 3D isn't in the future of any type of movie. It might be neat to look at, but when watching the same movie in 2D like most people will when it's on DVD or Tv, the camera shots are gonna look stupid. Perfect example is Friday the 13 part 3.

Oh and I saw Nightmare on elm st 6 in 3D at the theater (last 15 minutes were shot in 3D). It was cool but when I first saw the 2D version on Vhs years ago, the camera shots looked odd. It just ruins the movie.

  • I'd also give it an 8 out of 10, the original I'd give a 9 out of 10, surprisingly good film that pays a respectful homage to the slasher films of the 80's. Great vid

  • i give it a 10

  • You must be very young, because I still remember going to the movies and watching 3D horror films back in the day. The Creature From the Black Lagoon, Friday the 13th 3-D & one of the later Nightmare on Elm Streets were all in 3D or had 3D segments.

  • they also did jaws3 in 3D

  • I give the film 4 and a half stars out of 5, the deaths were awsome, the acting was good and the overall tone was chilling, Harry Warden (the killer) is one of my favorite killers and always will be!

  • i give it a 9.5 because the 3D killing was great and even the parts with bad acting were great

  • 9.5/10

Really great film, and could tell that it has had a lot of time spent on it beacuse of the 3D and special effects. :)

  • 18 degrees is not that low!!! C'mon guys!!! I wanted to see the snow and the people freezing at it while giving their very subjective reviews!!! :P

  • Excellent movie. The 3-D aspect scared me, and made me jump out of my seat. I give this an ten out of a ten. I also love the idea that he wasn't going after just teens. Can't wait too buy it.

  • doesnt look scary

  • that not true its not the first 3D horror movie because friday the 13th 3 was in 3D jaws was in 3D freddy's dead the final nightmare was in 3D

  • I give it 1 out of 10, because it would have been cooler and more entertaining to watch the actual band My Bloody Valentine live on 3D instead of a cheap horror film.

  • Dang I wish I could see this movie, but ya know tha whole rated R thing... can someone maybe message me and tell me all about it? Like tha ending and all tha important parts?

  • this was pretty good although the killer is surprisely someone u never thought of i give it a 7 out of 10 but the 3d made it better im only 12 but i did jump a few times a lot of gore and one funny sex scene lol(had to close my eyes)

  • OK well i give this movie a 2 out of 5.

Reason being, It was Terrible. I loved the heavy amounts of gore and some of it being in 3D was awesome.. but the acting. horrible, the story in general made no sense, Many things happened without any explanations, very unrealistic the ending was just not satisfying, the ending was very confusing.

It had me thinking it was going to be amazing, because the trailer was amazing. other than that the heavy amounts of gore were excellent.

  • sorry on a 1- 10 scale i give it a 5

  • Well i think we would get more info and brilliant reviews on movies if only u three guys review it,but on the other hand u should continue on the mean streets cuz ppl would i think get bored by just seein u guys and not getin the interactive background,tc and peace

  • Im going to see this movie tonight. its gonna be fucking scary.

  • is this like REALLY scary cause of 3D ? =\

  • With a cheesy storyline and awesome 3d, it makes it the ultimate scare fest of a fun time.

  • hmm i wanna watch the movie

  • im 12 and i am gonna see it with ma fam i love horror movies since u saw it how bad the nudity really is cuz i think i may have to close my eyes that part tonight.....

  • I give this movie a 6

    If the movie didn't have 3d I would rate it a 5

The 3d helps but I was expecting some better 3d action

  • Haha, do the people get killed while they are bangin?

  • i give it a 6

The commercials said it all, its a terrific example of the "perfect" date movie. But because of the 3D and the atmosphere it sets its highly recomened.

Alright nice review BTT but you had a few facts incorrect. I dont think you recall a little film called friday the 13th part 3 in 3D. It was also rated R, im currently holding a copy of the film in my hand with a large R on the front so i think i might be correct. But anyways nice but get your facts straight"er"

  • My Bloody Valentine 3D is the first film to rated R using this new 3D technology. Friday the 13th Part 3 used the old "blue & red" technology.

  • I dont mean to argue because you guys are the experts but i have the big boxset type thing, it has a special features disc where they explain certain things about the film and they state that it was a new kind of 3D where in the glasses were different. It was more advanced that blue and red. But anyway im not going to argue becuase im probobly wrong but when i hear 3D, i automatically think 3D as a whole but yeah, sorry for the argueing.

  • No worries! It's always good to discuss stuff.

  • Yeah this isnt the first non-kiddie movie to come out in 3-d. There was Jaws 3-D and also Friday The Thirteenth Part III 3-D. Its hilarious how your heaps into it Grace but the other kids are very low voiced and kind of depressed when sharing their opinion. Great review. i cant wait until it comes out in Australia.

  • were they both rated r?

  • nightmare on elm street had a 3d movie way back in the day as well. 3d technology wasn't that good back then.

  • This movie delivers the creepiest chills ever seen through the 3D vision.

  • Although the story may seem familiar, audiences can still enjoy this fun thrilled 3D ride to Hell.

  • MOVIE WAS A WASTE OF MONEY!!! ACTIN, SET WAS CHEAP, AND WELL IT ALL JUST SUCKED!! the girl had a gin for like 7 min and diddnt shhot him she was fucking dumb along with the movie

  • I really want to see this movie! I know there is nudity but

Are there like alot of sex scenes? cause I get annoyed when there are so many, If anyone minds answering lol

  • Actually Only 1

  • Only 1 phew

    Thanks for telling me!!

  • Oh, lets not forget the plans for Alexandre Aja to remake Joe Dante's campy, classic B-movie Piranha.....ALSO IN 3-D!!!

  • I give it an 8.

A horror movie that's not cheap on thrills or fun, but the violence may be a bit much for your average movie fan.

  • this was insanely awesome!!!

the 3D made it much more enjoyable

seeing nudity and blood and guts come at you was pretty funny

there's alot of funny dialogue here and there as well

the original was good but i'm so glad they got a remake right this time

nothing else has been good as this

what also made me happy was after the 1st 5 min the slicing and dicing began instantly, Patrick Lussier (the director) got right to it

and many of his past films' elements are still there :)

  • Im 14, i scare kinda easily, but llooking at all the trailers, it doesnt look to scary? is it a good horror for a 14 purson?

  • Well, if you see other horror movies, this one is pretty standard for the genre in terms of gore/sex. But I will say I hid my eyes a lot, I was so scared! Had a lot of fun though and actually thinking of going to see it again! :)

  • Friday the 13th part 3D was standard when it came to sex and gore.

  • Youngster I love 3D but fear the Gore! thank You for the informations

  • hey if you see this do you see a final destanation 4 trailer?

  • No, but you do see a Friday the 13th trailer!

  • Towards the end she says something like "if you want to be there for the first 3d movie that's not for kids".

Isn't she forgetting Friday the 13th Part 3

3-D and that old horror movie The Mask? Not the Jim Carrey one. haha

  • Those older 3D films use a dated method of 3D. This is the first time Real D - very high quality 3D imaging - has been used for a regular mainstream film.

  • I've seen other 3-D movies like Spy Kids 3-D. So my 3-D movie experience has sucked. I saw the movie yesterday but not in 3-D and I liked it, but nothing really special. Is this 3-D better than Spy Kids 3D?

  • MUCH better 3D. I saw Spy Kids in 3D too and the 3D was very poor quality.

  • i could not bear the story lines of older 3d movies not to mention the primitive technology this movie truly is a break through for 3d and the horror especially with the gripping story line the only down fall was the uncalled for nudity I'm a guy i like that stuff but if i wanted to see that kinda stuff id watch porno great movie 9/10

  • Movie was good not great the Stroyline was okey did really go with the 1981 movie has you know has My bloody Valentine but any way this movie was a 9 out 10 for me.

  • It was just like any other horror movie except it's in 3D, it shoved everything in your face and left nothing to the imagination like old horror movies

  • I really liked to see the opinions of the Beyond the Trailer crew.

I think it would be cool for future episodes to have both the audience's AND the crew's opinion.

All in all: great episode of Beyond the Trailer. And the movie looks like it will rock my socks off. Ever since I was a kid, I am fascinated by 3D films, and this looks like a decent one to check out.

  • so pretty much what your saying is....

If it wasnt in 3-D it wouldnt be worth watching.

Like most "classic" B-Grade Horror movie re-makes.

    go figure.

  • Im going 2 see that fime:)
