  • I dont have much knowledge about NASA but i am curious if it's true that they will ditch the shuttle and use rockets instead?that would be a shame =(

  • i think it is true... Ares I and Ares V

  • Looking at the Earth as it moves by gives an idea of what 5 miles/sec looks like.

  • we are ditching them "klingondude" in 2010.

  • LoL!

  • we need to ditch the shuttle, conventional rockets cost much less, not to mention the new Orion is reusable.

  • that is awsome wow !

  • All thats missing is The Blue Danube for a soundtrack (2001 - A Space Odessey)

  • if you slide the progress bar on the player you can watch the shuttle rotate in a few seconds.

  • Bitchen! I wanna go.....gimme gimmme gimmme some.

  • Shame NASA's ditching Shuttles and going back to Rockets.

  • indeed it is, everythin has 2 b dun correctly, othawise the crew cud easily jepordise the mission, godspeed 2 every 1 on board

  • the pitch manouver looks fun but it's all very serious work!

  • Yes. Very serious...

  • you seriously don't know how they built the space station??? uh ok, it works like this. The first module was launched by an unmanned rocket. After that, the space shuttle would carry addional modules up, dock to the space station, and connect the new module.

That is what the space shuttle was designed to do basically. It's sad that the budget was cut back so far that they hardly use it for its intended purpose.

  • Thank you for answering to Kanorikoziuri

  • How did they build the Space Station out there? What did they start with?
