Anti-authority, macho, impulsive, and invulnerability. You sir have four out of the five hazardous attitudes for pilots. If you plan on living a long life, you should really slow down.
@crazyassmofoz please remember that this is some kind of trike, not a cessna. If he was flying under trees in a cessna i would agree but this is small craft does not have the same speed or size that a GA airplane would have
I teach Aerobatics and all kinds of emergencies even when low or at take off and I will be ashamed if I had a student as dumb as you.
If you want to play the idiot macho guy just post a video of you playing the Russian Roullete with a six shooter Magnum. Leave the Trike for a real good pilot.
@dieztendix No offense, bro. I hope but good pilots always have a safety factor and dont cut things, so close. just think, you make a little mistake and yu kill your passenger and the trike. Happens almost every week in small planes. It is called Hot Dogging, etc. Saludos desde Puerto Rico. We have a better Aviation safety record than most states in USA.
don't see why everyone is giving you crap... sure if you hit a tree you will die but seems like your speed was good and had plenty of places to land if the engine failed... maybe next time try locking the camera onto something more stable so we don't get dizzy watching the video... have fun...
I did some really dumb stuff when I transitioned to trikes from GA. I am luck to be alive, as are you, sir. I hope you settle down a bit. Not trying to rain on your fun, I just don't want to read that you died. I tell people that trike flying is the most fun I have ever had in my life, but also that it's like having the Devil sitting on your shoulder, whispering "Come on, you can do that". Flying like that, you are one bad pocket of air, or an engine out away from your own funeral. Stay safe!
I learneed by myself, practically. only 2 hours of instruction. My aviation crawling days on these trees. I hit branches quite often. All are little and most of them on purpose. most of them... I never learned to gain altitude before turning. I can turn imediatelly into the trees. I love the trees. I love air currents on structures. Whit such slow airplane its jetskiing on a slow whitewater.
but Im a bird and need to BE FLYING RATHER THAN PILOTING.
I require no licence radio-comunication or follow any type of regulation ( inside guatemala and not 3 miles near international airports)
Thanks for following what your instructor told you.
This is a playground full of volcanoes, rivers sea, palmtrees, animals.... the whole combo. thats why I never fly over 50ft. there is nothing up there.
@dieztendix Dude, you are literally going to kill yourself if you don't change your attitude about flying, trust me, you can enjoy yourself with proper risk management. You should really read what you just put. I am serious about that man. You WILL either hurt or kill yourself eventually flying like that.
I'm strongly in agreement with this guy. I'm all for taking some risks and having some fun in the air, but this flying is totally irresponsible. It's obvious you've never had any training or you would have more respect for your aircraft's limitations and phenomemon such as rotor. Calm it down or find another hobby.
@Superterminal I never said that there was rotor, I just used that as an example. Besides, the trick is to recognise areas where rotor is likely to exist and avoid it, not to discover that there is rotor by flying through it...
@meggark ok yes I agree but if he's decided it's nice enough weather for there to be no rotor then the only real problem is potential engin failures, but that's his choice. I have absolutely no issue with someone risking their own life if they want to, it's not like he's going to kill anyone else or damage property by the looks of it out there. Anyway, I see you fly trikes too, where abouts do you fly? I fly them down at Old Sarum occasionally when I have the time and the money.
@Superterminal tbh, I don't have a problem with that either, actually I was surprised when I read back my comment, reckon I must have been in a bad mood that day! Perhaps the weather was shite and I couldn't fly myself...lol I fly from Strathaven, but unfortunately between aircraft at the moment due to a hanger fire! Looking at getting a 582 Quantum for summer hopefully. What do you normally fly? That speedflying looks awesome btw!
Ha yeah the weather here will do that to anyone... though it sounds like you've got a very nice part of the country to fly around :-) Ouch sorry to hear about the fire, I hope the insurance is paying out? I normally rent my old instructors 921 as she's now got a QuikR which she teaches with and is lovely and so fast to fly but sadly doesn't rent...
@meggark ...I haven't had much money to fly of late though, too many other silly hobbies. My mate has uploaded a bit of unedited footage on his page form ages back now but I didn't have the GoPro's then so it's not as nice footage. Speedflying is ace, such good fun, hoping to be up there again this weekend.
Unless you know what you are doing, this is extremely dangerous to make such maneuvers so close to the ground. Hope no one with a Trike watches these videos and tries to replicate it. Dumb idea. Trikes were not designed to be banked 90 degrees.
Que buena musica men, viejos tiempos, ahora hay que oir Bethoven (Lounge) jeje, Saludos continua siempre paso a paso, sos un vencedor men, fuerzas!!!!
being a live means you are in danger i fly like that nearly everyday i would rather be doing what i love too much than to be conservative and not live while i am alive. we are in more danger from drunks driving cancer stick liters and so on if you have never done it you have no ideal what it holds in one's life that has done it
So here is the question Dieztendix ... why fly? Its cheaper and much safer to ride in a ATV if you want to be that close, you know, just kind of doesn't make sense :). Be safe.
Anyone else thought this was an ad for a flying lawnmower?

The question isn't if your engine will quit, it's when with a 2 stroke. Eventually, the law of averages will catch up with this guy...

VOLAR SIN PILOTEAR. SOLO PAPALOTEAR.
Siento mucho la movedera, pero ir volando asi con una mano y la camara en la otra es incomodo.
RECUERDEN QUE ESTO ES 40-50KM/hr. Es un pajaro verdadero.
