@sertman96 the red pieces were the cloak generators ( render the soldier invisible). I think they removed them because the red pieces were very exposed to enemy fire and susceptible to external damage. Besides the new black color looks more like " I'm gonna kick your ass", more tough. I think the suit is better that way

I don't have a problem with Crysis 2 coming out on the consoles, as long as the computer version still has better graphics. I will buy the PC version for the graphics, and the 360 version for the achievements.

i know, XBOX is microsoft so any game on xbox should be released on pc, no?, i have only just got GTA IV and i am so shocked of how much CPU power it need's (AMD x2 5000 2.6Ghz) more the reason to get a 955 or 965 quad core and i can't wait, having one will make GTA even more enjoyable :) smooth, i hope, because i am only running a 9400GT wich is so crap mainly because the overclocking ability is so low or maybe i got factory overclocked one, anyways i wana know the chances of cheats on console?

It takes a SHIT Load of GFX + CPU power. I have a Quad Q6600 with 9800 GT OC and I only get max...30-45 ish FPS on MEDIUM settings. ;A; Sucks.

Only wished they released all the exclusives for Xbox on PC. :/ I would've bought them.

Well, the reason it lags is because I have a shit load of mods. :X But still, if I didn't have the mods, I'd prob get a bit more than 40 FPS, but it would still take a lot of VRAM. I have 6GB of DDR2 ram.

oooh i see i heard that mods seem to make the game lag alot so i chose not to use them myself, though i would like a Aston Martin DB9 :) i am looking at the GTS 250 1GB gpu they seem to run the game smooth and for only 100GBP im sure they can achieve over 40fps with no problems at all, even running with mods, i also have 6GB DDR2 ram, i wonder if adding another 2GB would help abit with speeding up the texture loading wich should smooth it out i think, is there any news/rumors on the next GTA ?

Looking @ your GFX and ram, It's probably MORE than enough to run GTA smoothly @ max settings. It all depends on what CPU you have. 1 or 2 car mods won't really change anything as for your FPS...But for me, I basically have all the cars modded + some graphics mods. So that might be the reason as to why it lags a shit load.

Adding RAM would help I imagine, but not that much. Make sure you're running a OS that supports 8GB of ram...lol Windows XP, does not.

Hey I'm a ps3 fan as well but nothing can match the power of PC. just accept it. Look many computers and never on consoles can really handle the power of CryEngine 2. Only like 3-5% of people are lucky enough are able to run it at the fullest maximum settings. Consoles are mainly like mobile game systems that everyone can play. No, the Cryengine 3 makes the game run faster so it works out on Xbox360 and PS3, but for the computer, there will be way higher graphic settings, and they will take a bit more out of your GPU and CPU of your computer, but not much, since Cryengine 3 has been made to show off Better graphics with less requirements, but more RAM.
