@RaiiOtakuNekoFever13 Press A+G then hold back and press A+B kinda mash it out, he will choke them, if you get a hard knock down hold back and press A+B then hold nothing and press A+B and he will lift and throw, then just press it one more time. (I was speaking in GKAB terms, just go to moves list to see wich button goes to which)

Besides, you have little success of performing throw tactics like that if you're faced with characters of better reach and power (ex Nightmare, Kilik, Ivy). But if it works for you, then awesome.

1:45 is a critical finish. You do soul gauge damage by attacking the opponents guard. If u attack their guard enough and the crystal next to their health bar will begin to blink red, at which point you are very close to breaking their soul gauge. Their soul gauge breaking will be indicated by a crash and a red shock. input a+b+k+g immediately after (no prior input) and you will perform a critical finish

While I dislike having Star Wars characters in a SC game, I would've really liked to have Darth Vader's style available in character creation. Just add a normal sword instead of that Lightsaber and you have some badass telikinetic supa-warrior or something.

@Thatkoolguy Yeah, they are, but it would be incredibly unfair if they were using real star wars physics for this game, because vader, yoda and the apprentice would just own all the other characters because their lightsabers could just cut through whatever swords and armour they were using.

I suppose they had to balance it out so as to not make the three star wars characters cheap.

@AColonDashSix Sorry to burst your bubble, but the fighting style itself is actually based off of european medieval longsword fencing. The fighting coreagrophy in every star wars movie used some form of european fencing. The only thing asian about the jedi was their philosophy and style of robes (not to mention a few fighting styles, but not vader's). Vaders helmet was actually not just based off of a samurai but also a nazi world war II helmet. Sorry but I'm kinda of a major star wars nerd :P

Well this installment is unique to the series. Namco and LucasArts came to an agreement to include Darth Vader (exclusive to PlayStation 3) and Yoda (Xbox 360) as playable fighters. And also The Apprentice of course to both consoles.
