  • Valeu guys, it dosent mather how much judo, wrestling or other forms of grappling this "master" know, this is still totaly crap, in this way its imposible to pass even an 8 year old retard boy,,,,,,,,,

  • how can an wrestler/judo guy teach bjj?

its like asking a golf player to teach you icehockey,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • are you are troll or something !!!

Misha Cirkunov is Mohammad former students

Carlos Newton goes and train with Mohammad to improve his takedown and wrestling.

Oh yeah a guard pass is a guard pass doesn't matter what the name is so get some education, post some video, and stop trolling. Contribute something or stop trolling.

Oh yeah I am going to save you time by blocking you. now you don't have to watch this video

  • Not exactly Ice hockey doesn't come from golf but BJJ comes from Judo.

  • I guess you don't know that BJJ comes from kodokan Judo......

  • @golfrent

watch "Saulo Ribeiro Guard Pass" here on youtube

you will see the multiple BJJ champion showing you the same technique only with a slightly different way of opening...so all you guys talking about how crappy that guard-opener is. go and argue with the champion

and by the way, you are the ones having no idea. blocking the hip will stop you from sitting up, also prevents all guard submissions like armbars and triangles. sure there is a counter for that one, but still a very good pass

  • @xfoxyxj Thanks!!

I don't understand how so of the newbie talked like they are an expert. When placed the arm on someone chest...that is reference for armbar. So where place it there.

    Thanks for the comment xfoxyxj

  • @golfrent for freestyle wrestling have much grip on the legs.By the way, in wresling we learned to lie not in the back like a hora.vad is BJJ?, a sportman should play sports as a man not like a whore. In the alternative, he was in the military in iran.och he is a good brottare.och talented judo man

  • Leg locks, the way you are demonstrating in here, are illegal in Judo...I guess you are giving a self defense lecture!!!

  • No, he's giving a BJJ lecture. Smarty pants...

  • Sorry I didn't have a chance to replied till now. Mohammad is a form Iranian Junior Wrestling Champ, and a 4th Dan in Judo and World Master Champ. On top of that he has students training all over the place in BJJ/Submission Wrestling, etc. So Mohammad is expose to many discipline of grappling. In this seminar he was just showing a lot of things to my students, it wasn't judo per say. When you do as much grappling as Mohammad, you are expose to all sort of stuff

  • Their are hundreds of ways to pass guard and they all have their disadvantages. Learn as many as you can and use the one that will work best for you at the moment.

  • to the loud mouth, golfrent... judo men were passing guard before bjj existed.

  • Mo with all due respect to your accomplishments in Judo. I think you need to work on the Ne Wazza aspect of this once more. BJJ players will shoot holes in this technique, I don't know where to start.. Almost every basic sub from guard is available from start to pass here.

  • If you think it doesnt work, why dont you put a video showing how to pass the guard? Your the one that doesnt know anything. Respect is a big part of martial arts. Some people in here dont agree with that guard pass and its totally fine but you dont see them disrespecting his knowledge

  • thanks for your comment, I find it funny that there are guys who treat their martial like religion, if is not done their way, is wrong. I have train in some many place now that I see so many ways of doing things, some better than others. Is all about context, why and when you should do something.

  • Fabrico Werdum used this to break Brandon Vera's guard recently. How can anyone thats ever trained think this doesn't work, this is basic stuff? If every BJJ technique was listed, this would be is Guard Break #1.

  • thanks !!

  • i dont give a flying shit about if this guy know judo or wrestling, this guy still dont no shit about BJJ

  • this is just crapp, this guy dont no shit about BJJ

  • I think Mohammad knows what he is talking about. He is a world champ in judo (master division) and a former Iran Army wrestling champ. Also he was the coach for the junior wrestling team in Iran.

    Google his name

    Mohammad Khorrami

    z

  • im a newbie on bjj, but i think that kind of break is prone to arm bar from guard. i know this is just one of ways to break a guard. but posturing too much will allow the guy on the ground to put you on armbar or triangle. ;)

  • hey fusionmartial arts, saw a recent article of you in the 'instructors special' blitz magazine this month. impressive.

  • really !!! can you give me the links !!! He would be please.

    email me

  • Please refer to my email I sent just now.

  • hey guys get real, even an 8 year old retard boy can se that this is crap,,,,if you dont hold his chest the he will sitt up and grab your collar and then brake your posture and base and then it will not take long before you get sweept or submited,,,its allways the same with all this "bjj masters" from other styles they dont know shit about bjj,,,,,,

  • heh well you are easy to submit..

  • than you will get cut with joji gatame(arm bar) lesen to him and learn from whoever you can this is smart way for you to not make any comments fore someone how knows lots morethan you ever imagen.

  • i lyk it even i don't know how!!!!!

  • I don't like the guard break. This would only work on inexperienced white belts.

The instructor has no base on his right side, so someone who knows about leverage could reverse him right over to mount. He's pinning the hips, but not the chest, so his opponent can easily raise his torso to attack with a choke.

The follow up knee bars are nice.

  • you don't want to pin the chest, you can get armbar.

  • his right ankle is base out to balance himself from getting turn over to his right

  • its a really basic guard pass thats fairly effective you just have to make sure not to reach back without turning your body cause thats how a lot of people get caught

  • I personally dont advice that technique, cause its too risky that your opponent will swip you or get onto your back. Hard to explain but i knew what i would have done in such situation. It will work but only if you have unexperienced opponents.

  • I do Judo but we have some BJJ people and I always have problems to get out of his legs so I think I will learn something with this video. Thank"S.

  • Thanks for the video!
