Cool video. It's a nice mix of West Coast swing and NYC salsa with some FABULOUS musicality. The thing I appreciated about these two dancers is that their style makes the dance and isn't just a bunch of crazy turn patterns thrown together. There are no advanced turn patterns and yet it looks professional. He's not overleading anything and everything organically flows from the music. Outstanding.

this is obviously a taste of what lies beyond salsa clases, when you can take all you've learned and just be yourself,, showing your real style. This is as a reply to all those comments ranting about the "On2 salsa" and how it's off time. He's not off, he's just dancing to the music in his very own personal (and complety awesome) way. I hope one day i can come closer to dacing like this.

on2 salsa is only necessary when its an on2 song. the song is an on 1 song and he isn't' really with the music unless he is early or late.

The two dancers are Dario an Katrina. The venue is the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California. The club, Salsa Familia, with over 900 members meets every Sunday (unless it rains) from 4PM to 9PM. It is FREE.
