I remember that game, yes there was traveling, but that kind of call wouldn't have happened at that point in the game, so get over yourselves Dayton fans. Second, he had to have been shooting is desperation, there was no one else down the floor to pass to and they were down 3. There was enough contact for the foul. A foul should have been called. The announcers knew it, Akron fans knew it. It's a shame too because the game was called fair the whole way.
No a trsvel should have been called and I am not a Dayton fan. Second the time left in a game does not give the referees permission to not call violations. If its a travel in the first quarter it is a travel in the fourth.
alright here it is. im a ud fan. the ref messed up twice. first he traveled before the shot look at the replay shuffles his feet. second if he let the traveling go its a three shot foul ur oblviously shooting and was in the act of shooting it
i find it pretty amusing how all the UD fans put negative comments on all the Akron fans for not agreeing... its ok UD.. you guys got the win.. it was a shooting foul, but wasn't called.. admitting it won't change a thing

Dials would not have had time to pass it, and his eyes were clearly on the rim. You know you have seen people take desperation shots like that before. If it was a pass, he would have thrown it with one hand, not two.

If you pause this video as Little is making contact, the guy THEN begins to draw back so that he can make the long heave motion in the Academy Award attempt at drawing a 3 pt. shot. After multiple views of this, there is no doubt in my mind that the refs got it right by award the double bonus two shot foul.
horrible call.. are you kidding?... in college basketball a foul can be committed where a player is a half step from even moving towards the basket and its considered in the act of shooting let a lone if they're attempting to heave the ball in the direction of the opposite court.. This was a bad call by the officials.
