the first class seats are very much more like business class. there may only be 2 classes but if you compare it to an airline with 3, those first class seats are not worth your money. it's better used on REAL first class tickets. economy is pretty good anyways, it could use some more leg room - but don't all of them?
It's a newly launched DOMESTIC USA airline in an Airbus A320/A319. So no, it's not going to be as fancy as an Emirates A380....It's damn good compared to most US Airlines today.
I totally agree, its not going to be any where near emirates! the only problem i have is that, your saying this is better, very true it is better than some but this is used on a few transcontinental flights, Delta for instance uses seats very similar to that for about the same flights. I personally think Delta seats are better, but thats just me of course.
No its not... Virgin only has a lower class (economy) and upper class which is a business class. VIrgin america call it 'first class' but its really only a business class.
Dude - its only first class if there are three classes. Most American airlines only have two - but for marketing reasons they name their business class 'first class'. Most Americans have no concept of what a true first class is.
The rest of the world call coach economy and American first business class. Then there is a class above that called first.
I'm not talking about virgin blue... I am English and I used 2 travel VA to new York about 6 times a year. I like Virgin America too - but they don't have a first class. Ultra Premium travel isn't in any of virgin's business plans, which is why the haven't bothered investing in a true first class.
Where i live has nothing to do with anything. It's like me saying "your a 13 year old american kid, how would you know?" Please leave the chidlish comments out.
Yah it is, for an American carrier - Just a shame it doesn't have a first class. American airlines should look at the rest of the world, then they would realize how far behind they are.
if it werent for the clear partition (which is quite weird as normally planes will have a bulkhead between first/business and economy, judging by the way the config of the plane is i would have sworm that Virgin America took a A320 in single class configuration, I like the nice wise seats though, looks quite comfortable.
those white leather seats are the best

I think that FIRST class is a misnomer ... surely this is just shorthaul BUSINESS class .. IE: a little better than economy, but not much

How come everyone goes on about emirates? you'd proberly turn down a flight on the worst airline for free and book a flight with emirates for money.

XLC54 1 year ago
@XLC54 Thats true, but it doesnt make the airline British.
TheWarPlanet 1 year ago
@XLC54 Actually he doesn't own it, Virgin has a minority share in Virgin America and has little control over its interaction with Virgin Atlantic

ok you have not flown VA 6 times a year they have not even been in service for a year. They were established in 2004 and started flying on Aug 8 2007
superspaz1234 3 years ago
VA is Virgin Atlantic, not Virgin America. Please read what i said.... Virgin America doesnt even fly from London to New York.
jimmah55555 3 years ago
o well. who cares now. both airlines rule. and Virgin American is a crazy demestic airline
