Hi Candy, I am a local DJ and bought my 250GB Archos 5 hoping to use it for backing up my song library in case I have an emergency at a wedding/party, etc... My issue is that I don't have it droid enabled and that limits how to store and easily access my songs. I need to search my songs by keyword, title or by artist. @itsmetheone80 you can buy a micro sd card to add room but I recommend the 16gb one because with a 16gb micro sd card you get 32gb and the 32gb archos 5 costs $380 so if you want the extra 8 gigs get the 16gb version but the 8gb one is good for tight budgets

PS: the only deference between the versions is the internal storage. not the other specs

Viewers out there, there have been TWO recent firmware updates as of Feb 11 which has improved the Archos 5 Android even further. There is a VERY easy Marketplace workaround also!

That is for YOU to decide by yourself. Read reviews, continue to watch videos and see which one suits your needs the best. If you are totally into Apps & games, honestly, the ipod touch will probably be better for you. Android apps are also good but are not as fast and not as many are in 3D because the android apps are developed for mobile phones not something as fast as an ipod touch or the archos 5 It.

If you want to watch loads of movies, webtv/radio & a full browser consider the A5

@CandysAllMediaReview I think that saying that ipod games will run better is not very accurate. With the recent Droid and Nexus one, you will start seeing games for this device that run at full resolution. Just give it a couple months.

hey i was wondering if you could help me....i wanna get the market app on my archos. i have the latest firmware installed and have downloaded a few apps from applib. i found some instructions through google on how get market but i ran into a few problems. I cannot mount my archos while in ADB mode (this is what the directions told me) because no drivers are found (i am running win7) any help would be greatly appriciated thanks
