Neither Circus or Blackout sold nearly as much as her older albums. The only reason they sold as much as they did is because of her controversey, and fanbase. Joanna's album came out before Idol, when nobody knew who she was. Now that she's famous (ish), she can put out an album that will sell. Joanna was popular on Idol. She was seen as a contender to win after her audition. A lot of people disliked how she had a record deal, relationships with the producers, and forgot her words, but even after that, she had enough fans to make her a contender before she was disqualified. My point about Britney's sales was that she's not selling like she used to be. Joanna's album has no chance of selling more than an early Britney album, but I definitely think it would outsell Circus or Blackout.

Jennifer's didn't break 1 million yet, but she can still do it. She's also not getting a lot of radio airplay. Joanna's more likely to sing songs that would be played on mainstream radio. Her type of music usually sells more than Jennifer's type. It would definitely depend on the songs she gets, like it did with Britney. Baby One More Time, was great, but If U Seek Amy was one of the worst things I've ever heard, regardless of who sings it. If Joanna gets good songs, I could see her doing it.
