The Skeleton Key is definitely one of the worst Horror/Thriller movies ever made.
This film was refreshing in that it had a unique plot to it. However, I don't feel it lives up to the expectations of the average horror/thriller audience. None of the characters were all that interesting and I thought the movie was very predictable. I figured out the ending about half way through the movie.
Kate Hudson was absolutely miscast - you don't feel sorry for her character at all!
If you've seen The Ring, the revenge concept is allot the same. Except is is Hoodoo, not some video that no one knew how it got there... Im serieous! How did the video come to be in the ring? It never explains it.
Samara had telekinetic powers and she mind- made the video in the cabin she was under. That cabin hosted teenagers on there little party vacations. U.C?
This was a pretty good fan made trailer I have to say, but I still like the original one better though. Not meaning to offend, this one was very good. : )

if we tell you miss the whole point of the story. Just watch it. Its not really scary, just very mysterious.
