Damping sets the amount of oscillation the spring will have. If the damping is low it will oscillate a lot and if the the damping is high it will have almost no oscillation.
Then the dampening is set too high. Generally a dampening of 1 will suffice. If not the geometries attached to the spring are probably very heavy, try to make it less heavy.
i found by making the stocks wider it contains the spring. overall i must thank you you really taught me how to make awesome suspension, and iam making a full suspension tank using this same concept
Looks good. However you will see when there is a lot of stress on the wheels like friction and weight on a slope, the other suspension works better. The axis on this suspension tends to break through its casing.

Garbage3Man 2 years ago
there is an option.
selct the hinge, and check the box "control with arrow keys"
if don't work try to make it a motor (speed is the max speed)

nice work dude, how you set different collision layers to the things?
imelflow 2 years ago
there is a option. select the object, and from the menu collisions select the collision that can have and can't have.

how to you rotate things around, like spinning squares?
RSSsailing 3 years ago
Select an item and hold the right mouse button and move the mouse to rotate freely. Hold shift to rotate 15 degrees at a time.

would the second or the first be better?

The first one is easier to create and more stable but the second one can handle much more speed, pressure and stress.

goed engels :O en ga je ook nederlandse tuts maken :D?
Flym0nkey 3 years ago
Als daar behoefte aan is. Maar dan moet ik de nederlandse taal installeren in phun omdat ik de benamingen niet ken.

I did not upload these scenes anywhere cause I made these suspensions for the sole purpose of this video.

Your tank must be finished by now. Can you show it? :P

hey i took your idea from th first type and modified it a bit (i personally think it works better) [see vid response]

BTW they are not my idea :P

Wow, this helped a lot!!
Thanks man this is the first phun suspension instructions on you tube yet.
