@imsowhiteandnerdy Crosbys better than Yzerman was. No disrespect to Yzerman, but Crosby is simply amazing. Well it's really not fair to compare the two yet. Can't really until both their careers are fnished. But Crosby and Yzerman are both great hockey players nonetheless.
@tylerdurdonxx yzerman had 155 points in a season and i know it was a different time but still most people dont remember yzerman in his prime and crosby reminds me of how he played and thats what i was saying not if anyone was better
@imsowhiteandnerdy At the end, you said yzerman was way better though. Yzerman was awesome, but I don't remember him doing all those crazy spin passes that crosby does.
@imsowhiteandnerdy Crosbys only 22. And Yzermans infalted numbers were in the 80's where you were getting 20 players hittong over 100 points a season. Everyone put up big numbers in the 80's. And even with that fact, I guarantee Crosby finishes his career with more points than Yzerman did.
@imsowhiteandnerdy and the year yzerman put up 155 points, Bernie Nichols put up 70 goals and 150 points. I'm guessing a lot of people don't even know who Bernie Nichols is. My point.....It was a lot easier to score in the 80s
pittsburg.. I don't know how that city got so lucky.. first Jagr and Lemieux... now Crosby and Malkin.... Too bad its just such a shit American city...
I'm not saying Crosby is a poor player, he's pretty darn good actually. I just think the people who say he's "The next one" or is better than either of the other Penguin greats are sorely mistaken. I just think when it comes to overall talent and ability, Lemieux and Jagr were far better. Some of that can also be attributed to Crosby's smaller size.
I don't mind saying it. Jagr was a far superior hockey player to Crosby. His ability to power past defenders and take games away is unmatched by guys in the NHL today. He also played the boards extremely well, and deke like nobody's business. Crosby tries to play like Jagr and Lemieux and just ends up losing the puck and falling on his ass.
except he is by far the most successful center in the league along with malkin, and besides, jagar played the wing and obzly no one is ever gonna be as good as lemieux . so, hatin on him for not filling the lemieux-jagar void is useless, just sit back and enjoy the show....
this guy was amazing, i think it would be cool if he came back to pittsburgh fir a couple seasons, but thats never going to happen lol. Let's Go Pens!!!
0:22 Who was faster in that age than MIGHTY 68? NOONE and noone will be in the future.

as far as Game style goes
Crosby is like Steve Yzerman skilled passer not the best scorer (this season hes the second best but carer wise)
Malkin is like a Jaromir Jagr big body player finesse skill balanced scorer and play maker
Ovechkin is like a Gordie Howe good hitter but a better goal scorer and like gordie does not fatigue

Hah, Jarda. Amíci máte štěstí, že opustil NHL, protože jinak by vám stále trápil vaše brankáře.

My favorite part is the guy that crashes into Lemieux at 2:54 and falls over while Mario just stands there! Lemieux + Jagr = spectacular hockey.
