I dont think people realize that NU had there backup in for most to all of the game. Persa did an amazing job and will do an amazing job in 2010. But all i hear is "we lost cause stanzi got hurt." Even though we lost and I had to hear it from my brother for weeks (he goes to NU) and we lost Stanzi I still had a lot of fun at that game. We were so loud when the hawks were on defense. Props to Persa, Kafka and the whole NU team for keeping their composure because that was by far the loudest we had been all season.

They caused turnovers when stanzi was in the game, and they stopped the run. Northwestern played better and was the better team on the given day. Injuries are a part of football and it is the job of the coaches and the team to respond to the adversity.
