i keep getting an error on the final step where you have to click on the OneClick thing.. it says Installing superuser than says The system cannot find the patch specified. It still says Congratz you are now rooted though, when the comand is supposed to reboot my phone, it doesnt what should i do HELP!

i "rooted" my phone without realizing that it doesnt work with the OTA update..i have everything working except for the fact that its not rooted..anything i can do to reset the whole phone and get stock again?

If anyone can't get perm root, check to make sure sync isn't running in the background, even if no pop ups from sync have occurred.

last question how do u backup all your stuff on your phone before rooting i would like to start rooting but not sure how to backup your apps,contacts,music,videos,gam­es,bookmarks,saved game data and etc. PLZ PLZ back waant to start to root download everything, everything is ready to go

@Lildeus1212 okay, pretend you followed my video and you have your phone unlocked and rooted... now just download from the market Open Garden wi-fi tethering program. start the program. and BOOM you're broadcasting your own network.

@WolfmanDan2012 kindof... but in reality, a droid straight outta the box is a jailbroken iphone/ipod. you can download and do everything on a droid (unrooted) that you could do on a jailbroken iphone, plus on a droid your not confined to one appstore (cydia), you can already download .apk's from multiple sites across the internet. i only rooted so i can have free wireless internet hotspot. =)

@TheDrinkhere i dont quite know how to unroot yet, but thats because the phone's so new. also, theres no reason right now to unroot... My computer is running Win7 Infinium. With Rocket Dock installed at the top, and background i have you can get here
