  • I like how the Dalek lowers the plunger and gun before it says "Dammit". But it is true that the older ones before Remembrance of the Daleks did have trouble with stairs.

  • EXTERMINATE THE STAIRS!!!!

  • I thought this was rather funny.

  • @aprilblenk OkOk! Don't be so hyper! LOLOLOL!

  • there is no R in daleks.. darleks lol

  • Dalek's Greatest Enemy Is Chuck Norris....Nuff Said.

  • Daleks can levitate too, stupid!!!

  • @antaloliver Don't be so naive. Yes, they can levitate now but in the old series they never could. That's what the maker of this video was basing this on.

  • Dalek's greatest enemy is Steven Moffat. Mine too. Hate the hunchbacks, love the Daleks!

  • This is cool, but you know, the Dalek's greatest enemy is, in fact, a pissed off River Song.

  • exterminate the stairs.

  • Don't the old daleks use metal as a magnetic force to move

  • Uhm, Daleks have been able to hover since the 1980's or something. and they had hoverpads well before that.

  • lololoolo

  • doctor who is lame, its so badly made i would rather imagine it than actually spend time watching it...but i would never imagine it, cause its a load of shit..

  • @jordangrant1989 trying too hard.

  • @Gerald360halowowness ill tell that to yo mama next time she tryin to make me cum

  • @jordangrant1989 still, trying too hard.

  • @jordangrant1989 okay now your trying too little.

  • @jordangrant1989 sh now? what is that so pose to mean? sell hawks? some honkies?

    what are you ,three?

  • @Gerald360halowowness check your grammar..

  • Darleks? Roflol xD

  • Lol, bring in the Imperials, THEY CAN FLY!

  • Daleks were first seen to directly hover up stairs in the Seventh Doctor serial "Remembrance of the Daleks" - Davros had already done it in the Sixth Doctor "Revelation of the Daleks". In the Third Doctor serial "Planet of the Daleks", a Dalek travelled up a shaft on a hover pad. In fact it was implied they could climb stairs as early as the First Doctor serial "The Chase", although not shown on screen. Daleks are seen to navigate a haunted house and the Mary Celeste without any problems.

  • All the Dalek has to do is blast a hole in the wall next to him and he can get out of the house.

  • this was made in 2008, when the daleks had been flying for a while, were you living under a rock?

  • Actually all daleks could hover exept from the first and second doctors daleks, lets take Rememberance of the Daleks for example, a dalek flys up the stairs threatening to kill the doctor

  • That was good.

Sure took the Daleks long enough to figure out their hover-thing to overcome the stairs problem.

  • If the humans you must exterminate are up the stairs, the logical conclusion is to exterminate the BUILDING.

  • yeh can fly

  • Daleks, Roombas with an arsenal.

  • @TheNJerk Man, thats how they should market the roomba. They should make them into little Daleks, then when you start it up it'll say "EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE!

    ...

    THE DUST ON THE FLOOR"

Sales would go waaaaaaaaaaaay up, I bet.

  • the defeat that proplem in one epsoid

  • EXTERMINATE ALL STAIRCASES!

  • @computernerd1101 I OBEY!

  • Daleks can hover in both the new series and the old series, it was in Remembrance of the Daleks. Funny video anyway.

  • lol *DAMNIT*

  • daleks can fly

  • lol its Daleks not Darleks

  • @XxXAlicetheMadXxX blow it up!

  • hahahaha, old joke but still funny.

    Daleks ftw.

  • Daleks can hover... so this video's a bit redundant...

I think the guy who made this is living in the 60's...

  • I was referring to the old Daleks with this video, I'm well aware the new Daleks can hover.

  • Actually, there has been evidence of Daleks flying for ALMOST as long as they have been seen on TVm it just went unstated and unnoticed, for example:

In The Chase (at least I think it was that), a Dalek could be on the bottom floor of the Dalek ship and the next minute somehow bee on the bridge or the next floor up. To cover up these plot holes people just like to think they could hover but it went unnoticed.

Still, 5 stars and favourited! I love this! Couldn't stop laughing! :)

    "Damnit!"

  • @SuperRichi1A Yup. They're seen on both decks of the Marie Celeste in that story.

  • @skippymurphy

dude you from ireland? coz you sound like you come frome belfast

  • @owneddogs66

Hey dude, nope, I am from Monaghan, so just on the border of the North.

  • @skippymurphy yeah, kid. Nice animation and I feel you on the whole "new daleks can hover" thing. they should make up their minds about these things before they bring out a new enemy.

  • @skippymurphy Um; the old Daleks could climbs stairs too; people! Otherwise how did they manage the stairs on the Marie Celeste in the episode The Chase??

  • @skippymurphy Actually, in the 60's newspaper comics, they had hover sleds that they used, and by Colin Baker's time on the show, Davros was hovering. When Sylvester McCoy played the Doctor he ran up a flight of stairs only to have the Dalek follow him.

  • @skippymurphy In Remembrance of the Daleks (1988!) a Dalek hovers up a flight of stairs. The article on Wikipedia even has a picture from the episode that shows tthis.

  • @DarthChess Even the old ones could hover. You just didn't see them doing it until Resurrection of The Daleks and Remembrance of The Daleks.

  • @LaughingPsycho Daleks started flying in Revelation, well not Daleks, Davros...Earlier, though they had hover pads... I think in Planet of the Daleks!

  • @DavrosTheKaled If you watch The Chase as an example, you'll see Daleks on both decks of the ship. The only way they could get up there was by going up the stairs. Budget constraints from the 60's stopped that from being shown.

As you say, Davros is actually seen hovering in Revelation. The Hoverbouts only featured in the comics. The hover pad in Planet of the Daleks was used for the Doctor to escape the locked room with the Dalek coming up after them.

  • @LaughingPsycho And that is an amazing scene in Planet of the Daleks :)

  • Daleks were first seen hovering up stairs in 1988.

The video is well executed, but honestly, the joke is so old!

  • Cybermen use stairs, Daleks level buildings.

  • The people who are taing the piss out of this video are the ones who have only seen the new series, they know shit about the old series which Daleks indeed could not self hover.

  • I couldn't agree more mate!! Although I am very fond of the newer Daleks,I also like the older Dalek models too.

  • Well they were seen to hover up stairs in a couple of eighties stories "Remeberance of the Daleks" and "Revelation of the Daleks". But yeah throughout the 60's and 70's they were snookered.

  • Only because the special effects of the day could not produce a viable hover effect for them.

  • @skippymurphy Interestingly enough, the old Daleks hovered in one of the older episodes. Before Christopher Eccleston I mean. I forgot which one, but I did see a clip of it on a Doctor Who documentary.

  • @skippymurphy They hovered in Remembrance of the Daleks.

  • @skippymurphy

Except they could towards the end and they were seen on the upper floors of buildings long before that anyway.

  • @skippymurphy Daleks can hover since the 1980's or something. Unless you think the 1980's is also 'New series' doctor who...

  • @skippymurphy Long time old series fan here and actually they could. Don't want to be a pedantic arse though. Funny video.

  • exterminate the stairs!

  • right people that are taking the piss out of this video should f*ck off i took the piss and i am sorry i am part of carroll 13s protest against youtubers that take the piss

  • so what they can elevate its a joke okay??? its very funny
