  • @kathyf123 yeah, if you have one of those, even your neighbors house won't be seen again!

  • PGU-14/B API

  • It's so powerful it even made the camera lag. LOL

  • Holy Shit!

  • oh my uh-god

  • sounds like a chainsaw haha

  • The weapon should be monogrammed: "If God had wanted you to live he would not have made me"

  • Hahahahahahahahah there so fucked

  • If they put these on gun pods, and filled up all of the a-10s hardpoints with the pods, along with about 5 more engines, that would be the perfect example of a flying gun platform.

  • @AntiTPG Gun pods?! The GAU-8 is so big that the plane was built AROUND it. There's no way you could fit it into a gunpod, surely?

On the other hand, how about putting banks of them into an AC-130? Is that the right plane? I mean the one that usually has a Bofors cannon, minigun, and 110mm artillery cannon, and is used for long distance bombardments.

  • @DGneoseeker1 yeah, that's the problem. but if they could do it (they can do EVERYTHING), then i'd like to see an a-10 fully armed with 10 of these things. though, if it fired all of them at once, the plane/flying gun would probably tear itself apart as well.

but an AC-130? that's the next best thing.

  • @AntiTPG No no, an A-10 is simply not large enough to hold more than one of these. Not the gun itself, but the motors and ammo hopper take up an insane amount of space.

What I want to know, on the other hand, is why we haven't mounted one in a TANK...

  • @DGneoseeker1 yeah, I said IF. but there's always the GAU-13/A.

  • @AntiTPG Whoa, I just looked up the GAU-13/A. Yes, I think that could work. Damn that thing is awesome. It sucks that the rate of fire is halved, but since the gun is half the size and weight, that's not bad.

  • @DGneoseeker1 real shame they didn't put it in service...

  • @DGneoseeker1 I think it requires air pressure from the fact that the aircraft is in flight, in order to work properly. Aside from that though, I don't think there's much tactical advantage in having one on a tank... it's actually bigger.

  • @TheVideoGuardian

The tactical advantage? What I meant was, currently an armoured vehicle tends to either have a slow firing main cannon, or something like a 25mm bushmaster chain gun. The GAU-8 is 30mm, fires armour piercing depleted uranium shells, and has an insanely fast firing rate. It would be a pretty good compromise, at the least.

Though not if you're right about the air pressure thing.

  • 0:11 To many particles made real life lag

  • lol heavy in team fortress 2 would trade his sandwich for this weapon

  • GAU - Gun Automatic Unit

  • holy crap!

  • Holy shit!

  • the thing that amazes me the most about the rounds is that one round weighs 500 grams

  • Who do I have to talk to to get two of these mounted on my motorcycle? Don't worry, it's a big heavy cruiser, it can handle it. Do they come in any other colors besides black? My bike is red and white. Thanks.

  • only hitch i see with that one is the recoil force is 10,000lbs per gun lol, so the moment you pulled the trigger the bike would fly backwards down the road :P

  • That's a small price to pay! Well, what if I mounted 4 GAU8's, two on each side, 2 facing front and 2 facing back? I think that'd be practical. I'm not sure if my motorcycle has a 9 ton GVWR or not... I'll check tomorrow. Thanks.

  • @opferte lol

  • i should mount that on my bicycle (:

  • omg

  • stick it up your butt!

  • I'm still alive

  • Depleted Uranium is 40% less radioactive then natural uranium. Natural being the keyword. The same uranium that used to be used to color dishes and glass

  • @jsullivan80 lol It never ceases to amaze me how people just cant grasp the concept that depleted uranium is used because it's HEAVY and being uranium doesn't make it unusually dangerous unless it's coming directly at you at supersonic speeds.

  • @NikitasGuitars thank you. People hear the word uranium and think OMFG its going to kill the whole world. no one knows the difference between U238 and U235

  • Yes they are on A10's

  • @emperor690 nope, a-10's are on them :D

  • Those are on A10'S right?

  • Just don't joke with air forces, or an GAU - 8 will visit you xD

  • If I had one of these, my neighbours cat would never piss in my flower bed again!

  • @kathyf123 mmm well it would probably blow your neighbors house up

  • @kathyf123 that's because there wouldn't be a cat, garden, or house left :O

  • @kathyf123 I don't even think you'd have a flower bed.

  • @kathyf123 yes cause i wouldve been chunks of fur gently floating everywere before the cat could even go near your lawn

  • @kathyf123 if i had one my neighbours wouldnt exist

  • @kathyf123

If i had one of these, my neighbours cat would'nt exist!

  • simple, dont fuck with the GAU-8

  • what do you how the home protect version looks like

  • ...what?

  • i said if a civllian version comes out how does it lookes like okay

  • Your English has improved so much in two months.

The home version of a 1500 lbs gun that fires DU (mildy radioactive) rounds, fast enough to go through several buildings? For some reason I dont think there will be one :(

  • No way dude, I have a pistol version of this I carry under my jacket every day. Its a little hard to conceal the 20 foot long barrels and 3 seconds worth of ammo weighs 240 pounds but otherwise it is really good for home defense!!

  • @emperor690 That's hilarious.

  • Ha dude Us will never sell that D:>

  • i need 1 of those lol
