I just heard this song two days ago, not precisely knowing the context of the lyrics, and right away it reminded me of my late father. Later on I got a confirmation that Anggun dedicated the song to her father. Anggun captures that sense of loss, but also the bittersweet realization of eternal connection between father and daughter, something that I realized within minutes of my father's passing. Thank you Anggun for beautifully expressing what I can't express.
