I'm no Mike Caro, but once he says "I think you have 2-pair" in such a nonchalant manner like he's expecting Phil to show up with something marginal like KJ or KQ after all that contemplation, you call with the nut straight. The amateur knows how to give away his hand to those with good intuition. He was almost fortunate that Phil has no such thing, but unluckily for him, Phil simply couldn't fold the straight despite not feeling confident that he was good here.
