But there is an alarming widespread trend in the black community to believe it's perfectly acceptable to be racist because blacks can't be racist. Why would I compare black racism to something I believe doesn't exist? I didn't choose to ignore it. It was clearly implied in my answer. And by all means, I welcome challenges to my arguments. @adenola I didn't suggest you report him to the police. If you report him to the school, they would have faced serious sanctions. And nothing you faced is any worse than I did. In college, I was discriminated against for my political and religious beliefs. I was called some pretty mean names. Like you, I don't consider myself a victim, but you did have far more recourse than me. So you actually enjoyed a privilege I didn't. And it's not that big of a deal to me. Why is it to you?

@adenola Actually, the media produce stories that will draw the largest audience. Violent crime stories draw a large audience. So, due to audience choice, reporters have a large incentive to focus on violent crime stories. Since black people, who are 13 percent of the population, commit 40 percent of the crime, they do pop up more. But no one is doing this as part of a conspiracy to make black people look bad, and the media are very PC. When it pays to do so, whites are portrayed poorly.

you compare reality to animated scripted fictional character like Homer Simpson? you can't be serious, in my opinion Homer is portrayed as a layed back gluton who loves duff beer and is supposed to be dumb but cool and funny at the same time, it's neither good nor bad, the writers intention is strictly comedy, the audience mostly see it as such, while the weak minded viewers are influenced by his charcter and result to impersonation..i see your homer simpson argument as a weak one.

@adenola Of course you see it as a weak one, because when whites are portrayed poorly, you don't perceive it as some grand conspiracy to oppress white people. That's because it's not. Neither is crime coverage or any portrayal of blacks. The difference is that you see a world that's out to get you, and this is entirely based on an ignorant prejudice you have toward white people. But there's no more conspiracy behind crime coverage than there is Homer Simpson.

@adenola Also, as far as this title goes, its asks a question about the strength of black people. It doesn't answer it. In fact, in the video I clearly state that strength is a quality of one's character so a race can neither be weak or strong. How is that "generalizing" about a race. The question is answered with a statement that doesn't generalize in any way. So, why do you believe that denying that one's race says anything about them is "generalizing?" The problem is black people in this country got to much racism. They treat the issue as their race as a Religion. Me as a Bible Believing christian I worship the Lord Jesus Christ not race. As a black man I don't even care what Jesus looked like. I know you must have done a case of them doing a Black Jesus and making it look like it's important of what Jesus looked like. But it's not. God did not say I am black or white or brown he said I am that I am. Meaning God is what he is.

What the media doesn't do so often is report on the existent and pervasive concerns that many Blacks (and other people) have. I don't attribute this to a conscious racism within the media, but to a lowering standard of television journalism, a fetish for scandal and outrage, and the hunger for headlines that lead people to standard conclusions before they've even heard the story. In doing so they are not informing us of anything we need to know, just solidifying our stereotypes.

@FunBoy15 What you're not considering here is that media are businesses that thrive on profits. They produce what people will buy. So, the audience is not a passive recipient of information. They are conscious consumers making choices, and those choices influence what content the media will produce. If the media dictated what's popular and what's not, why do some products fail?

I enjoy your videos, you make some clever insights. But what you're doing in video after video is making blanket statements about black people based on news articles such as these. The media loves stories where a handful of over-sensitive blacks get offended over something insignificant, and they construe these stories in such a way as to give the impression that black people en masse give a shit about these things. As though we're rioting out on the streets over it. Truth is, most don't.

@FunBoy15 Again, if these stories weren't of interest, they wouldn't be produced. These stories get ratings. So, they are a reflection of the concerns and interests of people in America. Obviously, no media outlet has 100 percent of any audience, so it can be argued that these stories don't necessarily represent majorities. But they do represent significant trends.
