Wonderful oldie !! One of my favourites. I can never understand why it has never been used as the feature song in a romance film. Like "Unchained Melody" was used for that wonderful movie "Ghost" with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. Remember the pottery wheel scene in THAT one ? SO hot !!!! ;)

The first time I herd this song was when it was sung on the film 'we were soldiers' just after i proposed to my now wife and descided there and then that this would be our song. Let me say this, "no one" can sing with deep feelings like Mel Carter can. He puts so much of himself into his songs. This especially always hits the very depth of my very being. Back in the mid to late 60s---I remember it well. If you do a search here you can see him in black and white when he sang it right after it came out on the charts. This music from the sixites was HOT!! without smothering you to death.
