@Bakinak: No, I believe it was only released in America. It's a shame, because it's a good game. Nintendo just didn't market it very well (or at all), so nobody seems to even know about it.

Well, this is actually the first gameplay of ExciteBots that I've seen, and all I have to say is that I looks like Excite Truck on crack.

That doesn't change the fact that it looks fun.

SparkySilverShadow: No, it just takes some practice. I'm better at the game now than I was in this video. Also, the bat isn't the easiest bot to control... I prefer the frog bot now.

Nintendo has been rounding out the games to

make them easier for newbs. They're ruining

mario kart and super smash bros by making

the game a lot more luck based, so that people that just started playing have the same chance as winning as a hardcore veteran. Now where is the fun and fairness in that?? This game looks to be fair and hardcore, and thank goodness for no blue shell at the last second. any mistake is your fault

Mario Kart was ALWAYS luck mixed with skill based racing, it was never completely one or the other and anyone good at the game knew this instinctively. I don't know why people all of a sudden think Mario Kart was dumbed down. MKDD was a LOT worse than this, and Mario Kart DS was an unbalanced disaster.

You'd be nuts not to buy this. The games amazing. The majority of the folks I've talked to say its better than Mario Kart. I personally think its better. I actually traded Mario Kart towards excite bots,and don't regret it at all.

Its more fun, way faster, just as competitive, and isn't a game of luck like Mario Kart. This game takes true skills.

Sure this game may not have the 4player split screen offline with cpus, and split screen online for 2, but the gameplay makes up for it.
