I went to an @homemaidcafe in Tokyo a few weeks ago. it's not much like she describes. They only get on their knees when you are sitting on a cushion at a low table so they can serve you. You can play game with the servers, take pictures/make a photo album if you go to different cafes, collect points to use on items, order food & drinks, lounge and talk, etc. It's a cool place to go, way better than Starbucks (which they have in Japan).
