You know I called marvel and dc with an idea to do a comic about alzheimers and the proceeds could go to the alziemers association. I talked to the PRESIDENT of DC Paul Levitz who i am sure is pretty busy for 30 min. I left a message on quesadas machine two months ago.....still waiting joe. I think Marvel has sucked since Quesada took over as editor in chief. He thinks he is god.

JMS failed when he wrote the "Gwen Stacy and Norman Osborne had secret twins" storyline. All credibility was lost at that point. But I'm sure Joe Q will "fix" that too.

Agreed wholeheartedly. But still I feel I must add this: writing the comic might have been the way to earn his bread, but why does no one hold the lamenting author as accountable? Let's face it--most of his whining occurred after the fact. If JMS wasn't happy writing it, he didn't have to make money off of it.

JMS was contractually obligated to write ASM up to issue 545. When Quesada intervened in the last few issues and demanded him to write "One More Day", JMS didn't like it at all. In fact he wanted his name off the book because of it (keep in mind this was before OMD was published). After alot of convincing from Quesada, JMS finally agreed to keep his name in the credits except for the last issue where he insisted that the fans know it was co-written with quesada.
