I saw this video years ago and it touched my heart. I knew then that I needed to follow what HE was saying to me and began the process for my husband and I to adopt a child through the foster care system. We already had two girls and just 4 days ago we finalized the adoption of our third daughter, Grace, just in time for Christmas! God bless Steven Curtis Chapman for bringing His message to me through this song. (yeesh, that is the most religious thing I have ever written in my life!! :)

@crystalcoy I wouldent say three people were the parents. most who give their children up for adoption do it not because they dont love/ want the child but because they are not ready or cannot afford one.

This song is a great representation of one of the very important meanings of Christmas. I was an orphan until I was 5 and every lyric he is saying is absolutely true.
