i got acl tear with lateral miniscus problem..i juz get my surgery a month a go..now,,i walking with braces(of corse) and with help of my stick..haha...it is really difficult to move and i only sit in front of my tv watching my cousin running besides me..hell yeah

I had surgery 17 days ago and already back walking with my brace of course, as long as you do your therapy and stretch well and good before, it's all fine and dandy :)

i tore my acl, mcl and lost a good chunk of my moniscus when I was wrestling in highschool and disloacted my knee again in univeristy. Finally got it checked out. (sorry for any spelling errors) and im getting my acl done this thursday. Im super nervous about haha, im in the army so my legs are my greatest asset, so ill need them back I guess haha... this video was quite informative! good post (Y)

6 to 12 months??? my dad tore his acl and broke the small bone in his leg and it only took him 3 months to recover completely.

@killerkow10 Your father is very lucky, right now I'm going through my 4th month of recovery and I have to say, it is such a horrible thing to go through. Physical therapy really is when the hard part begins /:

I was in and out awake on my second ACL repair (two complete tears within a year of each other v_v), as I got a regional anesthesia. Not all that bad, aside from hearing the drills. As always the rehab after is the worst part of having to have it done

if you have a son doughter husband wife or loved one and you want to do the best you can for them then at least watch ms bones1950 a slow death then decide if and where you want them to have any kind of surgery

i had ACL surgery 4-4-11 .....i tore mine from the bone and the ligament around the bone

I completely Tore My ACL and got surgery on the 20th. of April, got a Bone Ligament Bone instead of a cadaver, this is going to blow.....

I've had both of mine done. They used my patellar tendon. Those incisions were big but the incisions for the reconstruction were tiny

i had acl complete torn.. i made this surgery week ago... with doc. ahmed abulaziz ... i can move my leg now carefully without Crutch..but i know i'll need 4-6 months of phys. treatment
