Silly to compare. I have an X3 and a 330xi - both are incredible snow traction vehicles. Also have a 1985 Jeep Cherokee with snow studs and no AWD that will out-do both of them in deep snow. The BMW's have low ground clearance, and when they get high centered on snow they lose grip. Plus you won't typically see knobby snow stud tires on a BMW. RR's have higher ground clearance, as do Land Cruisers. If you lift a BMW and put snow tires on it, it would be unstoppable due to the traction control.

Yes, but probably still not as good as a Range Rover, which has a terrain response setting specifically for that situation that sets up the ETC perfectly.

i went to a BMW dealer and pretended to wanna buy one of these took it out for a testdrive and tho i never took it off road on road it wasnt that good. its really hard riding you feel every bump and also no one who is tall can sit in the back because of its low roof so i would rather have the range rover which is awesome to drive
