  • OMG that was unbelievable ! Please please please do a tutorial cos I wanna play it just like that but with the right ques to the song so I can sing along to it

The intro is just unbelievable, just like the outro ( and the entire song ), but please help cos this is my fav song and I want it perfect for a live performance

  • this is amazing great job

  • Can someone please tell me what the names of those four chords are?

  • @BigBadBarnold They are all inversions of E major 7. The Radiohead version is E flat major 7. Basically every chord has the same four notes but each one has a different note on the top.

  • yea right this is great!! such a great job mann really. radiohead would say woah that was good.

  • This is actually pretty terrible.

  • @Goochap lol

  • dude how do you record from the pc?

  • here's a real important tip u need to to bro your emu is skipping all over the place and it sounds bad. open your audio options and look at your direct sound properties and adjust your buffer rate. you basically need to make your sample rate longer so your beats don't skip. mine is at 3024 and its beautiful and i have a new computer never skips FL default is only at 1024 which makes most computers skip when u load a lot of VST plug-in's and samples to the fl step sequencer.

  • good one!!!

  • where did you get the mild un leise sample?

  • awesome dude

  • I know u don't wanna give us the file for the new one but how bout this?

  • nicely done

  • Where I can get this sample?!?!?!?!?

Please, if you can, send me the sample... Thanx a lot

    Brilliant...

  • Great...

I didn't know the Idioteque sample was not from Radiohead ! :O

Do you know where I can get this sample ?

    Thanks

  • i've been trying to find it. please let me know if u have any luck with that. :)

  • I wrote a message right here but they seem not to like URLs in messages. if you wanna find it just search paul lansky mild leise on google, it is in the first page in the results.

  • not bad:d and i like it your shitting on everyone, i realy do

  • please I'd like to see the master piece Like Spining Plates

  • ups, you are absolutely right. Sorry!!!!

  • ive been doing this recently, the mild und leise sample is dropped one semitone. If you dont warp the time when you drop it it ends up the perfect tempo to loop as well. You need to have two tracks running the sample and on one of them you reverse the stereo image, as the sample has way too much pan compared with the idioteque version

  • Nice man. I'm trying to learn more about the electronic part of music. This is awesome.

  • WOW!! 5/5 Hard work man...

  • DAMN NICE!!

  • In mine I simply sampled the drum sounds from the studio version. I also sampled Mild und Leise but now I'm playing the notes on the DX10 cause its way easier to keep in time.

  • It reminds me of their own demo version. You should only go nuts in the end to make a nice outcome. very nice! Too bad I'm so over Radiohead...

  • over radiohead??? wtf, impossible. anyways this is cool as hell. peace

  • copy paste of a midi...

  • I think the radiohead version is downtuned a half step.

  • you could have sampled the drum break as well. both "mild und leise" by Paul Lansky and the "short piece" drum break by Arthur Kreiger are compiled on "First Recordings - Electronic Music Winners", long play form 1976.

  • what are you using for that reverse guitarish effect?

  • i think youre talking about the Mild und Leise sample

  • @adamgravelle Also just incase you wondered it is an FM synth with a slow attack time creating that effect :D

  • very good, would have been more impressive if you had figured out the exact patch that lansky used on the DX10.. been trying to find it for a while now, FM is hard as hell

  • Could you tell me where to find the mild und leise sample, i really want to hear it. Great job by the way

  • the complete mild und leise is probably floating around on the file servers.... doubt it would be one that the record companies stuck a virus in

  • Not trying to nitpick, cause you did a hell of a job sequencing this, but its in the wrong key.

  • The... sample?

Drums and a sample can't really be out of key, can they?

  • Yeah, now that i think about it the mild und leise clip is probably downsampled a little... i could be wrong, the tempo sounds just maybe a couple BPM faster in this version and it seems like the sample had slightly more low end in the raidohead version

  • can i get an mp3 download of this?

  • best idioteque cover on youtube

  • herrlich, gute arbeit!

  • omg well done

  • Great job man!

    :)

  • awesome. where did you find that sample from that LP?

  • i downloaded an original paul lansky mp3. the song is like 18 minutes long

  • 24 minutes exactly

  • what channel did you use for the sample

  • @atomicpunk53 any chance you could send me a wav of this sample man? good work by the way x

  • @atomicpunk53 Song???

  • I like it, good job!

  • Very nicely done indeed!

  • dude that was awesome, i was trying the same thing but just didnt think of finding the sample. i was havin alota trouble finding the quick quirky sound right before the sample comes in in the studio version so kinda just stopped
