No offense to John Stewart but in the comics the best GL is Kyle Rayner since he was given a ring and took down mogul without any of the other GL's to mentor him at the beginning.

Ah I love this show. My favourite chars in it where Flash and J'onn. But I liked all of the original seven. (And most of the unlimited guys too, but with the exception of a few that got into more of a plot like Green Arrow most of them where just there to sort of cameo.)

As for GL, I love his buddy relationship with Flash. I also loved Kilowog, especially that scene with the icecream and the videotape.

John Stewart wasn't shit before WB came out with the Justice League show, just another third rate hero. Even Guy Gardner had a better story, but thanks to WB John Stewart ended up one of the better ones. He had a lot of kick ass material on this show.

Its an arguement. Because of John, a whole lot of people died and J'onn hated him for it. Spent some time in a wheelchair. In the comics he fell in love with a red chick, married a blue chick, she ran off and turned a green chick against Kyle...

At this point we should just assume Judd Winnick writes gibberish

If that's true it's because the writer's in the comics made him suck. But I have to agree with you, thank god for Timm Bruce and the WB showing just how AWESOME a character like John Stewart G.L. can really be. Now only if the writer's decide to do this in the comics and give John more stories and better character development, he might even be able to top the almighty Hal Jordan in popularity or at least match him in it. Because sometimes the truly greatest are the ones who are over-looked.

Sorry you didn't like the song. To me, this fit. I grew up in the 80s, and watched the Transformers animated movie tons of times as a kid which is where this song is from. This song fit my vision of Green Lantern. I have gotten numerous compliments even from folks tht didn't know the origin. I am happy with how it turned out than with another song.
