  • RonQE obviously never been to prison

  • real G's fuck around with heroin and realties......wow

  • @rootretard Who said I didn't "understand" that SOME people are caught in that endless cycle?

I simply assert that most of the people listening to such music aren't in that cycle, and for people truly stuck in it, I have sympathy. Sadly, though, most of the things which will get them out of that cycle are not values which are imparted to them.

  • styles p kills everything he"s on

    aint nobody fuckin with him

  • if you wasnt born in da hood shut up. point black. let em know. shyt hard out here aint no jobs.

  • @babby9882 I can sympathize more with people actually raised in the genuine HOOD and can't get out, than all the people who aren't there.

For instance, why are all these people on here defending this music? Are they all in the "hood"? With internet access and time to watch youtube? If they have those resources, they could get educated and get out. Hard to sympathize with someone with a computer and internet service complaining about being stuck in the "hood'!

  • @RonQE shut the fuvk up faGGIT

  • @RonQE one up fur da mans u stole da computer deh usin right naw nd r steelin dere internet wit it nd it aint always as simple as n education dawg gotta pay fur da shit dat com wit it, got course fees n shit, gotta pay to go to collage.gotta big enough rep they dont let u in school. sum mans stuck in da ood wit no way out

  • @southsidekillas333 I put that into Babelfish Translator but it didn't seem to be able to translate that to English. LOL!

  • @RonQE

honestly the best thing i can tell u is he is spittin for thugs, gangsters,n young boys who r stuck in the hood, and if u arent or never came from the hood u will not feel or better yet understand him...he said it himself till every last thug in the hood die, ima keep spittin that gutta shit...now i lived in the hood so i know how it feels to be stuck in the hood, but im not anymore, unfortunately there are still kids n young men stuck in the hood n he is their voice.

  • @RonQE i can honestly say im not in the hood anymore but iam a hood nigga, therefor i can relate, not to say ima go shoot a bunch people in the street but being the fact i have lived that life, i know and feel where they r comin from so just becuz u or others may have been able to prospere make better of a fucked up situation or position, u need to remember others aren't so fortunate.im a blackman tryna be good and do legal work but the white man is makes it real hard, if u were black,u know tht

  • @jasongorge22 I'm glad you're trying to be good and honest and hardworking.

But the "white man" is not making it hard on you. Unless you call asking for you to perform at the level of the other white men who are succeeding, "making it hard".

Whites are quite accepting of blacks who are intelligent, educated, well-spoken and civilized. It's the ones who try to take the ghetto or hood with them wherever they go, that most whites have a problem with.

  • @RonQE mani wanna know wat town ur from cuz it aint that sweet over here where im from bro.

  • @RonQE See Ron I see your point. But you don't seem to fully see the other point these individuals from the "hood" are making. I don't put "hood" in quotation marks to belittle it or mock it, but because it is the subject of discussion here.

First, I am black and live in a middle working class mixed demographic neighbourhood outside Toronto, but not all black youth do or are as fortunate as me. It's a fact that your environment and those around you shape you - like it or not. With that being

  • @RonQE (continuation)--> said, its the "easy" way out to succumb to your environment and let it shape you. Projects and other low income housing areas are proverbial traps that swallow the youth born into them. its a steep, slippery slope to make it out, regardless of if you want to or not.

Even in the "good" neighborhood I was lucky enough to be raised in, there are still those who see the gangster image on T.V and seek to replicate it and try and identify with it. So there are both extremes,

  • @RonQE 1) being born into it or 2) choosing to try and emulate a life a kid might think is "cool" or "hard" a way to milk the system, etc. instead of doing things the "old school" way and getting the education.

BUT it all depends on your initial situation, i.m.h.o.

I don't discriminate against Styles P. - because its what he was born into, what he knows, and he is just a businessman exploiting the music industry - trying to make his ends meat. Its just sad that kids with opportunity choose #2

  • @ukes I don't fault a person making this kind of "music" as much as the people who buy it and play it.

And you're right, the people choosing to milk the system is the tragedy of it.

Unfortunately, being born into it still means trying to find a way to milk the system and avoid education.

  • @RonQE I agree and understand with everything you said - up until the last point; how does being born into it mean trying to find a way to milk the system and avoid education? if your school isn't as well endowed as the private school up on some hill near a golf course and country club or your neighborhood free from ignorance and violence on a regular basis, how are you not somewhat trapped. That is simply being a victim of circumstance. Of course they can "get out" but it requires more effort

  • @ukes It's that being born into it usually means valuing "street" ways more than education and refining the mind.

We're in a society where ANYONE who VALUES education can get educated, if they have value it. The problem is that the culture of these areas is not to SEEK education or knowledge. It's to survive with crime and often to learn to play "victim" and to expect welfare and support from the system.

The worst part of being born into it is not learning they have to power to get out!

  • @RonQE lol is that all it takes? the internet and time to escape the demographic WE were strategicly planted and grown in?ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS? WERE ARE YOU FROM?

  • @Bluvofbase You don't get the point.

The point is that as long as ghetto kids keep listening to this shit and dressing ghetto and refusing to learn things like speech and basic education, then they never WILL escape that demographic.

I feel sorry for kids who were born in poor ghetto areas. But I have no sympathy for grown men and women who keep clinging to the ghetto culture then complaining they "can't get out". Of course you won't get out if you keep holding on to the ghetto!

  • @RonQE There is no point bro and their is nothing to get.if watching other people that you admire doing great does not inspire greatnessin every case then how can watching some one you admire do horrible thing be any different,Every one has an opinion and a righteous cause with out the history bro,Styles p is one of the only respected rappers still on that all gutter all day shit, alotta others turned to what makes money and their is hardly a market for gangsta rap any longer .styls spit facts

  • @RonQE we r from the hood -where drugs and loyalty rule the streets, and your life

  • @RonQE not where im from nigga fuck u talkin bout nigga

  • @MrBDotKilla fo real, da kid @RonQE he a dumbass

  • @RonQE Just get the fuck outta here and leave us in the hood why wouldnt I just goto school to get out the hood, instead of beeing a dumbass like you and trynna use the computer to get out the hood lool, lol ha1 but hey i ma take my computer with me when im gettin out the hood tho, STUPID!!!

  • @ow2blood Oh, RIIIGGGHHHT! Reading the trash you wrote, I'm supposed to be the stupid one? LMAO!

Try to develop your brain and maybe you can get out of the hood someday.

It's being STUPID and cultivating ignorance which keeps people in the ghetto and so many black people from succeeding in life. It's not skin color. It's not racism from whites. It's holding on to mental depravity!

  • Hardest out. Point. Blank. Period.

  • Me and the gun play like Magic and James Worthy...FIREEEEEE

  • styles 2 raw

  • blow haze but i still keep a codien lean..

  • GRRRRRRRR

  • gutter as fuck. styles p made this beat fire fuck 50

  • @RonQE are you forgettin that the hood is nothin you choose its what you are born into and the way you survive that is up 2 you who is anyone to judge plus are you forgettin that them people givin jobs are the same people who wanna oppress blacks and you have been manipulated to believe someone who is hood or how ever you see styles is trashy and stupid. and maybe the new skool agenda makes guys of his design inferior and maybe thats why he complains things dont come his way. huh?

  • @ucanthandledatruth01 What do you mean, "get out of the hood but still be hood"?

If you take the influence of the hood WITH you, then you never really got OUT, did you?

You're right, where you're born is not something you choose. But what you ARE is a choice. Why would anyone CHOOSE to keep being hood? Seems like that would be the LAST thing ANYONE would ever want to continue to be. It should be the goal of every ex-hood born person to leave that mentality and way of being FAR BEHIND.

  • @RonQE yea i hear you some people cling on to the hood mentality and im sure some do it because in some way its neccesary (some bosses or people or a certain influence and position in the hood) but for styles im pretty much sure he doesnt act as hood as we think he jus embraces that he has strong ties there. i mean i listen to styles and i hear a very intellectual guy a very grounded guy. and rememba to want to change you have to be adament there might be somethin wrong and maybe styles is happy

  • Fruits of life in harlem.. gotta hit that spot up... get my juice bar on.

  • watch?v=PlapMq8ybi4

  • ILL

  • styles p is one of da hottest muhfuckas to ever breath on a track..are u kiddin me son somebody needs to giv dis man da title alredi cuz dblock is still murderin da underground game..LPmoneymakin aim

  • S.P disguised in a trench coat. I can picture dis nigga waitin on mafucka in the park or some shit.

  • Lol hip hop is not for everybody..of its not then don't listen. For those that love it SP is in my top five all day...this is reality rap for some but mostly hip hop some shit guys have actually done some of it they know who did it some of it is just hyperbole for tha sake of hip hop! Its about skills its up to moms and dads to teach their children tha difference between entertainment..reality and what happens when u put YOURself in situations involving both

  • lol dude dont get too hype... we have our own opinions lol if u chose to suck styles off then thats on u bro.

  • there is something you dumb niggas need to understand, gangsta rap is just that. No condoning shit, if niggas do that then so be it. There is nuthin wrong with it, stop complaining plz im getting tired of it

  • 50 half stepped on this, So thank the Ghost for fixin this hot beat

  • @RonQE well u gotta understand, Hip-Hop is all about expressing urself and rap about wat u know...thats what he is doing. U may not agree wit it but theres another ten guys who do....why?? cuz they are living that life....or u could just empathize.its not so much as glorifying but its more of..." wow this guy is spittin exactly wat im living and he's on T.V." just wanted to fill u in on that

  • @jasongorge22 But who wants to live that? And who wants to glamorize that? If a person is living a life like that, seems like the only thing you'd want is to change it.

What I find amazing is that so many people who act just like this guy will complain that they can't get jobs, can't get out of the streets, aren't getting respect and are thought of as stupid and trashy. Is there any wonder WHY? You can't be that way and then complain that better things don't come your way!

  • @RonQE honestly just stfu cuz u dnt be in da hood u dnt kno nd even if yuhd o dat rap sounds hot period gangsta rap is da best rap period its harder for a regular rapper 2 be better den a true lyricist in gangsta rap like if yuh put a regular wack sond writer against big l or biggie or cass its juts like wtf are u doing

  • @wavyboypete134 WTF? I'm not going to sit here trying to piece together your misspelling!

Sadly, you probably COULD spell better but think it's "cool" to write like an idiot.

  • @RonQE Nursery rhymes? i'd like to see your ability to rhyme hopefully it's a little bit better than your ability to form a point in a debate based on nothing, no evidence is evident here. your bitch got fucked by styles or some black dude and your mad as fuck hatin on styles, why did you type it in to watch then criticise. get a better hobby you misinformed, sad bastard

  • @latinotee LOL - yes, nursery rhymes. From your command of the language and spelling, not to mention your profane babbling, which is in keeping with grade school, I can see why it might be entertaining to you LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @vae2k You write of "ignorance" when you state that spelling doesn't matter (even if it's on the internet)?

Sheesh. Maybe people should blame attitudes like that more for your fate than where they grew up. It's not caring about spelling of how to speak which keeps hood rats in the ghetto more than being born there.

The only "propaganda" here is the rap song.

  • @wavyboypete134

    BIG L is dead

    Biggie is dead

Cassidy recycles his lines. Way too much.

  • @wavyboypete134 did u go to school ????

  • @RonQE well thats exactly my point, they were forced to live that lifestyle simply cuz of the color of there skin, did u know they did a survey and it showed that a white man with a record was more likely to get more job offers than a black man without a record?? so when we're on the streets,we're thinkin whats the difference, plus some of them dudes on the streets got kids man...not to mention they're families or even the fact that they have eat themselves so u cant knock the way they live

  • @jasongorge22 They were only forced to live that lifestyle for as long as they lived there. They should GET OUT, and not spread misinformation (such as blacks LESS likely to get work - that's only true if the black person in question is the inferior candidate).

It's a sad culture and I feel sorry for people who are born into it. But we need to recognize hood and thug culture for what they are - ugly cancers which are destroying many people, most of them black. That culture needs to be escaped

  • @RonQE we livin in neighborhoods where u can get shot and killed any second. of course we tryna get out but where are we gona go,the burbs? whites will accept us right..lol..yea right dnt get me started on how hard for a black to get a job, even wit obama in office...its still tough for a black man out here u may not be racist but theres a whole lot more people that are. did u know a black man without a record was more likely not to get a job interview than a white man with a record

  • @jasongorge22 But the problems you speak of OUT of the ghetto are misinformation!

I can't speak for everywhere, but in all the cities I've been, the only black people having a hard time being accepted by whites are those who bring the ghetto WITH them out to the 'burbs.

Blacks, when educated, get jobs EASIER that equally qualified whites! There are quotas and AA to see to that.

The notion "a black without a record has a tougher time getting a job than a white with" is gross misinformation.

  • @RonQE so wat it is they're really glamorizing is the fact that they had to live this life but look at me....im still alive and doin it unlike many others who weren't so lucky. so when u hear them spittin wat they spit its jus to let those out there who live that life....that theres a chance for to get out the hood and still b hood

  • @RonQE u fukin faggot. wtf u doin on this page.

  • @RonQE go listen to lil wayne then u clown ahahah get outa here

  • @RonQE

then why are ypu listening to it then ?

  • @JW2K3 I listened once out of curiosity.

  • @RonQE

    w/e nigga

  • @RonQE

my reponse to u is u gotta live it to understand it. plain and simple.

Its a life ive lived and they live...u can't knock them cuz they r living in that area they have to experience the bullshit everyday not u, so thats y it is wut it is.

  • @SonicX1212 But from what I see, the rap about horrible crime is listened to by more than just people living that life.

And, if anything, one would hope the music would be about how AWFUL being trapped in such a life would be, not semi-glamorizing it. Problem is, too many middle-class kids listen to it and emulate the styles and attitudes of those who are trapped in a crime-ridden hell but can't get out.

  • @vae2k Yet you don't realize what I'm saying.

I'm not saying the influence is TOTAL! I'm not suggesting rap (or violent video games) turn intelligent, civilized scholars into murderous thugs. Yet in lieu of proper guidance, they DO influence kids, somewhat.

Also another point I was making is that the VISIBLE influence on kids shows that a lot more people are listening to ghetto music than who actually grew up in crime-ridden, violent ghettos (which was my response to another poster)

  • @RonQE You must looooooove to hear yourself speak. Just saying... :)

  • @RonQE

then why you listen to it then ?

  • @JW2K3 I listened to it to give it a fair chance and to not judge it ignorantly, without even hearing it once.
