For doubters & ppl comparing him to Ashley Giles: Giles- 143 wickets in 54 Tests & Monty - 101 wickets in 28 Tests. Do the Math! Ofcourse, these statistics are as of today i.e. after Monty got another 5 wicket haul.. he got 6 wickets against N.Zealand today @ Old Trafford to bring Enland back into the match.

He's definitely a Legend in the Making. I hope he ends with hundreds of more wickets & plays for England for years to come!

monty is a gifted young spinner who has the advantages of bowling well in all conditions. day 1 of a test match if the pitch is a beauty then he will still bowl well getting maybe a couple of wickets however bowling in the 2nd innings monty has a nack from getting 5 wicket hauls. i believe monty has such talent but i also believe that we have not seen the best of him.
