Here are some reasons why some of you women are single.
1. Judging a guy by the clothes he wears. (clothes don't make the person)
2. Judging a guy by the car he drives. (The only thing matters is that he has a car to drive - not what kind or what it looks like - as long as it runs)
3. Judging a guy by how much money he makes. (only prostitutes care about money plus it shouldn't matter as long as he isn't in your pocket or your in his. It's about what the 2 of you can do together)
4. Judging a guy by how many books he reads. (The only thing should matter is if he can read. lol)
5. Go by what other people think. (who is gonna be kissing the guy - you, your friends, your family? Are you that much of a follower?)
6. Judging a guy if he has a close relationship with his mother or other family members. (how can you judge a guy on that when you don't know what he has been thru? He could've been abused, neglected, has had favoritism to other family members, etc)
7. Judging a guy by if he has a degree or not or by how much education he has. (College isn't for everyone, everyone doesn't have or had the same opportunities as others in going, some don't have the same support system as others - even moral support makes a huge difference, alot of people who has never been to college makes more money than some people with degrees, using the excuse people who have been to college are more open minded - thats a bunch of bull
because alot of people who have been to college think and act booshe, look down
on some people and some republicans who have degrees are soo closed minded, etc)
8. Judging a guy by what type of job he has (In this day and age as long as he is working or looking for work should be fine enough.)
9. Dealing with multiple guys. (If a good man knows or see's that your dealing with other men he will just go the other way. Thats alot of drama and theres too much
stuff out there to catch that you cant drop. Everyone knows what society calls a woman thats with more than 1 guy. Don't get mad with me - I don't make up the sayings or rules. All those friends of the opposite sex can NEVER help a serious relationship or marriage.
10. Playing word games or any type of games. (An example is labeling your man, husband, sex buddy your friend. If he is just your friend it shouldn't matter if he see's us talking, kissing, having sex, etc.
Do you have sex with all your male friends? Stop downplaying your relationship.)
11. Not saying what you mean or mean what you say. (An example is if you really want a serious relationship but say that you want to be friends. The person you will be in a relationship with should be your best friend. No relationship starts off being serious the first day the 2 people meet. I know if a woman says she wants something different from what I want I won't waste my time with her. You can give
back gifts that are given to you, you can give back money that's spent on you. There is 1 thing you can NEVER get back is time. Time spent on the wrong person. Time spent on a person which you thought was leading 1 way but the other person never had any intentions in it ever going that way. No one wants their time wasted.)
12. Being so narrow minded. (If a guy wants to spend time with you or take you out don't make it conditional on where. Stop thinking and acting like it's
mandatory that you must do lunch, dinner or movies. There are sooo many other things to do than that unless your out to get a free meal. If your out for a free meal the guy can take you to a soup kitchen. LOL. Are you trying to see if you 2 are compatible or do you have your own agenda?)
13. Being hypocritical. (You have kids but the man can't have kids. Now how selfish is that of you? You want a man to deal with your kids but you can't deal
with his. Not all fathers have drama with the children mother. Don't assume.)
14. Acting stuck up. (Just because a guy says hello or hi doesn't mean he's trying to get your number, get with you or have sex with you.)
15. Thinking negative or not ready. (Not ready to meet a guy in passing especially on the streets. Thinking you have to lose another 5 or 10 lbs, your not where you want to be in life, your not in the mood, etc. You never know when the right
person or soulmate comes into your live. Just because a guy tries to talk to you or make conversation when your in a bad mood and you think you will talk to him next time.
Who says there will be a next time unless the 2 of you will be in the same place at the same time. Now what are the odds in that? Also thinking something is wrong with the guy because he's interested in you. Another way of thinking is this guy is too good to be true. If a woman thinks that way she will look for the
smallest reason to disqualify the guy. A crazy example is like she says I knew it he wasnt the guy for me because he wiped his nose from left to right instead of right to left. LOL.
16. Having a jacked up attitude by thinking she doesn't want to answer to anyone. In any relationship or marriage you have to answer to each other. That's selfish thinking that you think you can do what you want, say what you want and it's supposed to be ok.
17. When a guy talks to you about something you do or did that he didn't like but you still wants to do it and just ignore him. Just being disrespectful to his thoughts and wishes.
18. Jacking up or mutilating parts of your body because someone else thinks you would look better a certain way, you have low self esteem or that your trying to keep up with the Joneses. For example how women shave off their eye brows and then draw them back on. Alot of guys including myself thinks that a woman
should shave her eye brows ONLY when she has a uni brow. Most men don't want a
woman that her eye brows looks like Spock from Star Trek. lol. Also women that gets a reduction because they don't like their body or because they claim men stare at their chest. If you have a big butt, a pretty face, etc guys will be staring at that. If a guy is built like The Rock you would be staring at his chest, arms and stomach so why do you have a double standard when it comes to that?

Society has changed therefore the roles of the man and women have to adjust. At one time women needed men to survive which led to women treating their men well inorder to keep him so they themselves would have a better life. Teenage crime rates and pregnacy would drop. 4. More of our children would persue professional careers and thus establish stronger and safer AA communities.....

I don't know about this. I'm a young black female who has just started college. The black males at college come in as individuals, contrary to popular opinions, and the hoish ones are each manwhores in their own special ways, as are the intellectuals I've met. I've become attracted to some intellectual black men I've met, who don't bring up sex about 4/5 of the time I talk to them. I can talk about philosophy, science, and religion... its really nice.

At this point in society black men are finally wisening up to the fact that black women are not the only option available.....sorry to say this but black women do not own us and we don't owe them a relationship as they try and make us feel. The black women in the Real Housewives of Atlanta are sell-out media pawns who have been set-up to further the negative images of black women that the media want to portray. This is very purposeful, know your history. While I do know women like this, I know equally as many women who are not that way and quite the opposite. In fact, I know more women who are taking care of black men. I think people in general make bad relationship decisions but it is easier to blame the other party.

I don't know about this. I'm a young black female who has just started college. The black males at college come in as individuals, contrary to popular opinions, and the hoish ones are each manwhores in their own special ways, as are the intellectuals I've met. Thanks for the commentary, Yvonne! I think you make some great points that I feel we all need to look at a bit more succinctly. To me the videos are just what I think they are--entertainment. Do I look at them in any other way NO, but I feel others may be a bit more "weak-minded" and think they are REALITY! Sad but true. I'm not 100% sure they perpetuate additional belief in stereotypes although they don't help either. Great question you bring up though--who put these videos up anyway?

I have just as much right to date a Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian, etc. as I do a Black woman. This is very purposeful, know your history. While I do know women like this, I know equally as many women who are not that way and quite the opposite.
