@markybyeah I had the exact same problem, i thought it was a bad disk so i took it to the shop and had it cleaned but i realised all i was doing wrong is not hot swapping it fast enough, you have to do it lightning fast so you put your episodes from liberty city disk in, click Y, hover over install, take the disk out and very fast put in the modded disk in and then put the magnet on top and then instantly click install. Hope it helps

To all the people having problems finding the island follow these steps 1. delete GTA iv from your hard drive [ in case if you installed it] 2. put the unmodded copy you bought in the store in your xbox 3. clear the system cache 4. play gta 4 5. then it will ask you to update 6. click update now 7. after the update, go to dashboard 8. put your modded disk in [or hotswap in case you dont have a flashed xbox] 9. install to hard drive 10. play game Thumbs up so everyone can see this
