  • She's a beaut

  • amazing ~ ~ excellent work

  • Beautiful work. This is art.

  • This guy really controls the woods. Amazing stuff!

  • Wow that is just amazing :D

  • Amazing Guitar work.

Can you please share the background's song name?

It really reminds me the song "hey" by The Pixies..same bass line..

  • A truly mind-bending luthier. Jeffrey Jones GUITAR KING

  • i know this guy does it by hand, but you can use a CNC router to make the exact same designs for a fraction of the cost...if cost is an issue

  • @zircle1 Modern CNC is pretty amazing. You could program something close to this level of work but in the end CNC balls will not cut the same way knives and files do. You also have to conciser that a CNC will not imagine these types of works on their own or be able to look at a hunk of wood and plan the carving around the figure. W. Jeffrey Jones guitars are all unique and will never be reproduced. For cool examples of inexpensive, mass produced CNC guitars check out DBZ Guitars.

  • @SearcySW I'm on your side dude, these guitars are brilliant..i was really just pointing out the cost issue..peace

  • they r sooooooo fuckin' pretty O_O did u sold ur soul to devil for makin' guitars?))

  • check out the guitar on my profile, made it in my dads garage for my product design project at school

  • @joesteele93 Nice work!! Very well done.

  • I want one :/

  • O_O

  • works of art... they should be played never let your work of art collect dust or hung in a case, it was made to be played, enjoyed.

  • FUCKIN SICK!!!!

  • @Evenleeyod You might want to Email Jeffrey. I understand he has two shop prototypes that might be had for a song.

  • it was not my intention to criticize Jeffrey and his work or undermine hes presentation. If somehow I did that I apologize... hes surely is one of the best and everything he does makes sense...his guitars are beautiful and naturally, I'd like to have one but these guitars are not made for everyone to have...they are exceptional and they should be observed as such. As far as I'm concerned my thrills come from different side...and just because I think different doesn't make me an idiot... idiot

  • hey i know the question is gonna be off topic but whats the backgroud music?

  • @lilwayne910728 It's Jeffrey playing one of his guitars.

  • Awesome guitars. You don't have to be a guitar player to appreciate them, but it doesn't hurt either. Great attention to detail. Very nice planks of wood. I would die to own one, but could never afford to pay what they are rightfully worth.

  • His guitars are amazing... Oh yea, those Searcy pickups sound pretty good too ;)

  • these guitars are gorgeous

i wouldn't even care how they sound

i'd just look at them all day

  • @hydroweapon exactly my point....gorgeous... I would be too afraid to even play on it...its like having a picaso, youd have it secured with laser beams and alarms... why???? :)

  • I love the positioning of the input plug for the cable on this guitar! Not a lot of brands do this there is usually a bolt that needs to be tightened to sure that your input plug doesn't fall out but this one on this guitar looks fail safe and I bet that guitar sounds awesome!

  • actualy, now that i've checked better...first guitar shown here the dragon costs $12.000..so I understand its art, unique and other crap... I'd rater by any joe satriani, steve vai, kirk hammet or even james het iron cross ESP any day before I would spend $12.000 on a guitar that only has volume control...again I understand art and mind effort put into but.....RESPECT...

  • Yep... Jeffrey's work isn't for every one. The Dragon Wing sold a long time ago so you couldn't have that one if you wanted it. You could pay $10,000 for a Paul Gilbert Fire Man if you like. Oh.. and not for nuthin' but all the guitars you named one have one volume.

  • @dokaz hand built guitars that have actually taken thought and time, by one individual (and arn't chucked on a cnc machine) working through the whole prosses, generaly turn out alot! better than any satch or vai model, if you are fanatic enough about 'guitar' you should know this, im a satch and vai fan, and love their guitars!

but you have to respect what a guitar means to you. And the bonding between player and instument, look at ibanez factory tours, just a bunch of workers earning ther rent

  • @xFingerxStylex like I said, I understand its art, its craftsman soul and energy being involved in the process of making such guitar. I also understand it takes time and that each and every guitar made is unique and original but please, understand someone like me, an average person, an average income and great passion for music and guitars with only one goal and thats playing a guitar and not having one to hang on the wall... its got nothing to do with satch or vai...

  • @dokaz ok, i understand, and fully agree.

  • @dokaz understand that these guitars weren't made for u. even if u did have the money they weren't made for u.

they were made for a very specific bunch of people.

  • @ofirharlev and by very specific bunch of people you mean....who, specifically...you dont even know who I am...for all you know I could be a competitor guitar maker or phd. in music person...and let me tell you one more thing...there is nothing in this world that money cant buy, so if I had money and I wanted to have Jeffrey guitar im sure I could get one...its not a a Ferrari...however let me restate... I respect jeffery and I sure understand the effort he has to put to make one of these but.

  • @dokaz u are right, I don't know who u are.

I assumed that if u were one to have one of these beauties, u wouldn't be here, commenting on his video, u would be on stage with it.

  • as much as I would love to have to have it, they begin at $4000 and take between 6 - 8 months to finish....so it says on his page

  • amazing !!!

  • Beautiful guitars!, something I would like to know if you could help me, is what kind of tools you used for the fine detail sculpting of the wood when creating the winged skull at 3:46? thanks.

  • I dig it. But it must take forever to make

  • Guitars like the Dragon and the Oi take lots of time but that's nothing new for Jeffrey. W. Jeffrey Jones is professional sculptor who has worked for, among others, Todd McFarlane Toys. So putting in the long hours on detail is nothing new to him.
