  • hey devomrmac i have canon 60d can i use this to print my photo and how gud it is plz reply thank u

  • @bijayranjana Yes this would print fine.

  • thank u for replying devomrmac and how is the color ??? nice review subscribed :)

  • I called Epson with the same Problem And they told me this is a Common problem with this system Epson NX110. If your under the ONE year under warranty they will send you a New System without this (err) Problem. If you past the one year Warranty. you can only send the unit out for repair that will Cost you more than the Unit is worth!!!! (Thats BullShlt Epson Sucks I'll Never Ever Buy From Epson Again) also you cant refill any Epson ink at and Office Max or any other Big Named Store. E-Mail Me.

  • ... and not that many people know that !

  • Can a computer connect to more than one WiFi network at a time - so that it could use ONE for internet access and ANOTHER for a printer such as this one ?

  • Very good review, only couple of points missing - Epson mentions full set of Colour inks as HummingBird and Owl, with Owl being higher capacity. With reserach seems Owl are 10ml over the standard 8ml HummingBird. Difference in cost is £3 per cartridge. Also the Epson site mention DoubleSided printing but this wasnt something covered in the review, have you tried this and if so your thoughts?

  • dude nice video very good and helpful

  • @TheGoku1990 Thanks.

  • One of the best printer in the market, but... the ink is heaveyly priced, which I believe pulls people back! I have been using Epson from years and had no problem whatso ever! It gives true colour printing quality.

  • In 2 secondi ha stampato Come ha fatto?

  • I DON'T RECCOMEND THIS PRINTER. IT GIVES ALOT OF HEAD CLEANING AND THIS CAUSES LOSS OF INK. OLDER EPSONS MUCH BETTER.

  • I love my epson 710 printer. It is sooooooooo useful for college students who have print out lecture notes. I save so much paper and ink by putting it on the automatic reverse and low print density. You could get it at a good best buy for as low as 100 depending on what state you live in.

  • @browneyedgirle17 Great comment, thanks.

  • great review very help full thanks

  • @gazak9 Thanks.

  • Good review, Epson are the masters of printers. They're amazing at design, quality, and innovation. It's a shame their ink cartridges are ridiculously overpriced. And with Kodak not too far behind on the printer front, their ink cost is so low I don't see why you'd buy anything else.

Sort out the Epson ink prices and I'd snap one up any day!

  • @MyRandomReviews Great comment, thanks.

  • i have have a epson stylus nx125...when i scan it then print it itcomes out way to large....what do i do so i could just print in actual size?? nothing fancy just original size

  • they give you bad readings on all epsons!

TTHERES A LOT MORE INK LEFT!

  • Hi

    Great review thanks

Do you know where to purchase the optional rear sheet feeder

    Thanks

  • @bobclarke2 Only place is direct from Epson that I know.

  • @davomrmac Unfortunately they ignored me completely when I asked them but thanks anyway :-(

  • @bobclarke2 ebay any good?

  • @davomrmac thats why i bought canon mp640 - it has build-in duplexer, also phone printing works witch cheapes bluetooch usb module =)

  • Am really not satisfied with this printer. Less than year old and already had several had blockages.... Bought solutions but it only worked once. I don't suggest this printer.

  • I have this printer its a good one but when i try to print there stand the printer is not ready to print! can somebody help me?

  • @ammi300 Could be a hardware error, or recheck the cartridges are in correctly.

  • Hi Dave, good review!

Have one question, is there any way to save WiFi key ? because when you hit disconnect on the printer and wan't to connect again you have to type the pass again!

    Sorry for my English!

  • @snajperSLO I saw no way to save the WiFi key or copy it.

  • Cheers for concise review Dacomrmac..

  • what type of paper should i buy when i need to make labels on disc like cd or dvd and its cover?.. i dont really know the types of paper i need for this it will be my first. ill be having this printer soon, thank you so much for detail. xD

  • @babes0098 You can print direct to printable surface disks.

  • @davomrmac thx for your response, yes i see it has a direct disc print capabilities, just want to know what are the paper types for creating labels special covers. will the normal a4 bond paper do? what about glossiness?

  • @babes0098 Not really sure on this one. Anyone?

  • Im very impressed at the Canon MP640. Thank you again you've been a total sweetheart.

  • Thank you Davormac your very helpful.

I love printing photo's Im not sure about the scanner, printing onto discs I don't think i will need these options,I was wondering would you recommend that I buy a different model or stick with this one? I do print documents but as i've said it's mostly photo's. So sorry for being a pain, again any help would be much appreciated.x

  • @littleminx72 Have a look at my review of the Canon MP640.

  • Can anyone tell me if this printer prints edge to edge? I know this may sound like a silly question but i would rather know before going to buy it. Also would you recommend compatable ink cartridges CIS? Also is there a option where you can print photo's in black and white?

Thank you in advance for any responses.

  • @littleminx72 Yes it does print edge to edge. CIS is good from a reputable company. Black & white performance is pretty good.

  • Very usefull, thanks

  • @TerenceHorsman Glad it helped.

  • nice

  • @driessteenberghe Thanks.

  • Great review. Detailed and relevant. Thanks very much!

  • @MattyBoy7777 Cool, glad it helped.

  • can this epson print onto pvc cards?

  • great review. im planning to buy this or the canon pixma mp 640, any idea which one is more better?

  • @babes0098 I would go for the MP640 for overall speed and quality, better scanning. The Epson for high end photo quality.

  • @davomrmac what is this high-end thingly anyway? thx matey for the tip ill keep that in mind.

  • @babes0098 I just meant if your priority is mainly photo quality, then the Epson might be a little better.

  • Hi Dave, what printer is best for stand alone copying of photos? (ie. photo on scanner bed, photo paper in tray, and hit 'copy' button - no computer attached). I'm looking at this printer and the canon mp640 - which of these is best? Quality is most important to me, not speed or cost. Or can you recommended any other all-in-one printer that is best for purely copying photos? Thanks in advance!

  • @StuEvo I would go for the MP640 for speed and good quality (see my video on the channel) and the Epson for a VERY slight edge on quality. Just my opinion though, you might prefer the look of the Canon prints.

  • @davomrmac thank you so much for replying so quickly, i'm hoping to buy a printer today for making print copies over the weekend. I already have a Canon MP270 all-in-one that uses a tri-colour and black cart (printer cost £50 new) but i'm not impressed with the blacks and skin tones on 'photo copies' (just making a copy of a photo... which is what I need it for). So, because the MP640 has 5 carts would the quality be a LOT better for photos (making copies of photos with no computer)?

  • @StuEvo Yes, it would be and the scanner IMO is the Canon MP640 is better than the Epson which will play a part too.

  • @davomrmac Excellent dave, thank you so much. One last question.. are there any other all-in-one copiers (any brand) that you would HIGHLY recommend for photo 'copying' (under £150)? thanks so much again, excellent reviews!

  • @StuEvo None really, other that the MP640.

  • Hi,

Does the paper tray close flush with the front surface of the printer? In the review it looks like it sticks out a little bit. Thanks

  • @gandalf2424 It sticks out the front of the printer a tiny bit.

  • its true its a great printer, but the inks retail in america for like 52 dollars just for the color

  • Can you also print documents like pdf or doc directly from a storage card using the memory card reader? Or is it just for photo's?

  • but the inks on ebay lol

  • is it easy to link to the mac. as i tryed to link the epson sx600fw

  • @brfl566 The mac will just find the driver automatically. Not sure about wireless though.

  • photos came out very smudged and dried with an oil on water effect,

paper used was epson premier gloss photo.

  • @laurelbush Are you using original ink cartridges?

  • photos came out very smudged on epson premier photo paper, the ink then took hours to dry and looked like oil on water effect.

  • i stopped trusting epson after their 415 model

  • £174.43 in the UK just now on ebuyer

    $119.95 (£75.51) in the US from B&H

Why do we constantly get ripped off in the UK, it fucks me right off!

  • @gearfinger 17.5% VAT, import taxes, the ability for US stores to discount heavily...

  • @gearfinger £98 on pixmania!!

  • @gearfinger I know man, We need to get out of this country

  • Nice review but the printer is useless with the BT Hub as it cannot cope with a dynamic IP address and BT will only give business users a static IP BT dont want to know nor do epson Im getting rid of mine

  • Mine seems to work OK with the BT Hub, sometimes it doesn't connect but a quick restart of the printer solves the problem. I can also connect to the card reader wirelessly.

  • Great Review i decided to get this printer and it came today however when i print photos on photo paper they come out smudged as if the ink has not layed onto the paper properly. Although i choose the right type of paper on the computer before i print them, is there anything i'm doing wrong? any answers would be apreciated. (sorry for bad spelling)

  • Nice review.

    I think i'll buy it.

  • you mentioned that the ink cartridges are £8 - is that for one individual one or the whole 6? would be a pain replacing each one as the levels in them fluctuate depending on what you are printing.

  • That price is for individual ones.

  • so £48 for a complete change.. i think thats very expensive?

  • Does it scan photos well?

  • Yes, pretty good. Not as good as the Canon MP640 on scans though (see my other review) or a dedicated scanner.

  • @davomrmac thank you for your fast response

    Cheers.

  • Excellent review, ty. It's a buy.

  • Please note that before ejecting CD/DVD tray you should raise the control panel to it's highest level (90 deg)

  • Thanks for the review but what is the principal difference with the PX700W

  • I wish I chose this printer three weeks ago. My SX415 takes 4-15 minutes to print a photo on premium glossy A4 paper depending on.

  • Oh no! I wish I chose this printer 2 weeks ago. I bought the SX415. Not sure if I could return it. Good review. You have earn a 5-star.

  • for anyone to answer can you have it set up so its possible to print from both ethernet and wireless at the same time as thats what im trying to acheive ?

  • Superb review. As a result i went out and bought one 10 days ago. £150 PCworld

  • Good review ! Convinced me got one on way ha-ha! It cost £149.99 from Amazon UK!

  • can it scan multiple images at once?

  • No, one at a time.

  • Excellent review , ordered one from Amazon after watching this.

  • can u view pictures on that screen

  • Yes, from a memory card you can.

  • VERY nice printer ! Thank you for the review ...

  • nice review :D Thank you for saying that in UK it's known as the Epson Artisan 710

  • In the US it is known as the Artisan 710.

  • Congrats with your 200th video! (or you probably made more and removed them or something!)

  • Thank you.

  • great review + demo!

  • thats the crazyest printer ive ever seen. Di you see how fast that print came out? ouch!

  • amazing value for so many features
