I don't think that was a decoy. Killer owls can mimic plastic decoys with very little effort. I've seen one successfully imitate a 1959 Buick LeSabre, complete with license plates and an inspection sticker. I rode in it for several miles before I realized the chicanery. These guys are masters of deception. Be very, very careful!!
