muslikid: during DNA replication, the histones are not there. There are there only when the DNA has to be packed into chromosones. After creation of the new cells, the histones go away.

Did you know that for a significant portion of life's history (i.e. a billion years or so), oxygen was present in far lesser abundance in our atmosphere? I have begun believing in creationism because I just cannot grasp how this sort of complexity would ever arise from pure chance.
