first, your wrisnt woumdnt hurt if you were smart enough to take your own confortable possition, 2 u dont have to make new contact with the screen, you can use rappid back/forst strumming,

3 your grip doesnt constantly slip out if your rocking out, headbaning or sumthing * i didnt say u do * but just sit down chill ,

I have had no problems with the ds version, what they say is not true. it works so well, i prefer it to the console version! 9/10!!!!!

honestly i have to agree with him-i can normally play on expert on any console guitar hero or rock band, but i hadto take it down to medium, lay my hand on a table, and pray the game woldn't fall out whist strumming-im VERY glad i didn't buy this, try it on a friends and see for urself

Nah, he's right. I just got it and put about 2 hours in and beat the game. Really short. The controls are clunky and uncomfortable, the touch pad is unresponsive and the learning curve is ridiculous. I beat it on Expert in 2 hours. 4 buttons is just too easy for any real gamer. The bottom line is that it's uncomfortable to play. They should have allowed a player to use the D-pad for strumming. It was ambitious, but it just sux. 4 out of 10 is generous. I'd give it a 2 out of 10. Bad game.

I get the feeling that you only played this game for a few minuets before your reviewed it. The guitar grip needs a bit of time in order for you to get used to it, and when you do get used to it then it's a great item. You just seem to have played the game for a few minuets, found that you're not good at it and decided to blame the game instead of practicing with the game

I bought the game yesterday, and I already beat it. That is not my point. The point is, you need to get used to the new layout, then you will do fine. If you do Hard on the consoles, go own to medium for the ds. I play Hard/Expert on consoles. Medium/hard for On Tour is the way to go.

this game actually will last longer if you are new to guitar hero. I can play on hard only on the other games so when i got this i was already started on medium and got the expert in 2 days (i take my time on games) so the only reason everyone gets through this game sofast is because its easy compared to the other games and everyone can already play on like expert.

The only reason I had discomfort with this today on the bus was because my friend had the strap adjusted for his tiny hand and it was cutting off my circulation and I was forced to use the DS stylus because he'd lost the plectrum, and I couldn't turn the volume up because there was this bitchy old lady sitting next to me.

I am going to wait for the Decades version however, as the track list is a load of bollocks.
