  • I can't believe he is even putting the Keltec in the same sentence as the Walther. Walther is more expensive for a reason. It's a much better gun. Not even close.

  • Nice to see an Obama ad supporting your videos!!!

  • @jled525 seriously? you are aware that he reviews lots of stuff from lots of manufacturers right? If he was getting paid he'd basically be sponsored and Keltec would want him to say only good things about their stuff. Go watch his vid testing the keltec RFB heck he even mentioned the problems he had with it again when he was talking to the RRA rep about their .308's that can accept FAL mags. He's been doing this for 4 years, with as much stuff as he reviews he's not on anyones payroll.

  • He is in love with that pf9. I wonder how much kel tec pays him?

  • how much we talking in money 4 a 9mm ??? plz comment and let me no plz asap

  • @dalewatts83 The PPS goes around $500 now.

  • Nutnfancy just likes to talk. pick out what makes sense and forget all of his paramilitary bullshit. then go watch Hickok's vid if you want to see some real shooting.

  • vcMalice we just want to see if anything has changed since he has shot it. He loved the PPQ so maybe he loves this gun and we wanna know his thoughts. no need to CAPS LOCK YOUR COMMENT.

  • This pistol is the size of the Glock 26, not the 19. And I have to agree with other comments that reviewers need to have fired a pistol. Maybe there's a second review, but I don't see it.

  • Better quality than Kel Tec, more accurate than a Glock, looks cooler than a Sig..

I love mine and I've had em all. Try it!

  • true it is twice the price of a keltec, but i bet my gun shop has one of those....love you keltec but make more freakin' guns....also the heavier weight might prove advantageous to less experienced shooters or just shooters that aren't a fan of a whole lot of recoil, I'm considering this gun

  • Let me save you 17:02: it's like a glock but thinner and more expensive.

  • @dryflyelk and cooler

  • please, walther fanboys. stop getting your lil girl panties in a bunch because he hasn't fired the weapon yet. HE MENTIONS A DOZEN TIMES THAT THESE ARE INITIAL IMPRESSIONS. chill out my god

  • How about conceal carrying a sword? If you were a criminal and you saw someone pulling out a concealed sword, or unconcealed for that matter, wouldn't you just be to baffled to remember you were going to hold that person up? The shock-effect alone would prevent you from getting mugged.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH If it was unconcealed and on your hip, criminals wouldn't even bother you. And if it was legal, I would, particularly considering I'm trained to use one.

  • i cant cock back my walther pps

  • @XXSpraynPray Yea... mine was reallllllly stiff at first... I've put ~50 rounds through it, and it's still tight... I assume it'll loosen a bit.

  • The Walther PPS is so slim.

  • With all due respect to the NFP, it's a bit of a let down when the PoU points are not completed before posting a 15 minute review.

  • ...I'll take an FNP-9.

  • I don't know about the Walther, but I can't shoot a cow 5 feet away with a PF9... Very inaccurate gun. It's probably due to it light weight for the caliber and the long trigger pull... I wish I never bought it..

  • @JPEBeard Go practice.

  • @JPEBeard how much you want for it, what color is it and whats the slide.

  • Walther must be super pissed about being compared to a Kel tec. Do you think this is an equal comparison?

  • I didn't think much of this pistol until I fired it. It is very accurate and has a natural point. It just contoured to my hand very well. Once i felt it i could get over its looks. As far as the mag release goes, I use the middle finger. It also fit well in many holsters that a Glock 26 will (same size but slimmer), so there are holsters that will work well with it (Galco Sto&Go for example). I am very happy with it and would recommend it. I got it for $525 and i felt good about it.

  • Mahana, you ugly!

  • but the point is, which is more readily avalible?

  • PLEASE FIRE IT FIRST!

  • ROFL, let me recommend this car to you even though iv never driven it.

  • just shot this gun for the first time today. my wife and i put 100 umc, and 25 powerball rounds through it with no problems. i like it, i know it is ugly, but give a little slack. for a short barrel, very accurate.

  • Need to get this PPS out to the trench and do an updated review with trigger time (suggestion).

  • Hey how much is the PPS in the US? In Germany I had to pay around $1000 if I was allowed to buy one :D

  • A friend of mine says that the Walther PPS shoots better than any gun he's ever shot. First time shooting, he said it just shoots straight...

  • can it take p99 magazines?

  • @razorsharpness4 No, the P99 has a double stacked 15 round mag in 9mm whereas the PPS takes a single stacked 7 round mag in 9mm. The P99 clip would be both longer and wider than the PPS clip.

  • @washbrook45 It has no "clip". It is a magazine.

  • Could you do a table top review of the walther ppk 380? You always make references I'd like to see a thorough review?

  • Cool pistol, although I think it's kind of weird looking. I'd really like to see a review on the Walther PK380 and P99c if you could make it happen!

  • I love this gun. I have fired about 1200 rounds through it without a malfunction. Good size, like the mag release on the trigger guard.

  • I agree with your view on the grips could use some re- thinking

  • I've been shooting for over 20 years. this is for information people liten up

  • The PPS is a great little ccw 9mm. Over 1500 rounds downrange at this point and it goes bang every time. More accurate than a Glock 26 in my experience and I have about 10 times more trigger time with Glocks.

  • pf9 all the way. Lighter and less expensive.

  • I can see through the gun under the slide, that just turn me off. SIG, Taurus S&W and Glock they all have some models that you can see the spring from the outside, it just doesn't spell "quality design". Go see for yourselves at Academy.

  • you know what that means Nutn? It means it's ambidextrous! :)

  • Why do you discredit yourself from "jump street" ("My opinion probably isn't worth very much)? Just sayin'

  • Veri, you have to be one of the luckiest women in the world to get to share in the same gene pool as nutn. I wish you both all the luck in the world.

  • Shot this weapon today at the range. Very accurate. But the Glock 26 was more accurate.

  • do you need a gun licence to buy a gun? or can u just by one as long as you have no felony record cause i dont have a licence but i want to buy a gun from a gun store because i want a new gun im 22 years old so im old enough to buy it

  • @stacks6969allday It depends on where you live, in some areas it requires some extra paperwork, but in most states in the US all you have to have is enough money and no criminal record.

  • I just picked this gun up today at the gun show in town, and I must say I'm impressed with it already. I am a very small-framed individual, and I was able to conceal it under a small t-shirt with zero experience (my first gun) with a leather IWB holster at about 10:30 position.

I have yet to shoot it, but from what I've heard it shouldn't be a problem.

  • walter PPK is the shit!

  • I love my PPS .40 cal. I have had it since July and carry it everywhere. The recoil is not too bad especially when you get used to it. Nutn is correct with the 8 rounds being a down side but I think that the thinness factor makes up for that at least for me. You can carry this with a tuckable holster and you can not see it- period.. Doesn't work too well with an ankle holster though..

  • i would really like to see nutn do a review on the Walther PPK. Why hasn't he done one already btw?

  • @The88camaro Im guessing because its outdated, Sig p238, Ruger lcp or the Kel Tec P38t all offer equal capabilites with less weight and size.

  • I currently have a PF9 and it is a decent enogh gun but it dosent shoot nearly as well as say my glock 17. I know they are not in the same category but this makes me feel less confident with the Pf9. The primary reason is the long tiger pull and hard break of the trigger when firing at speed drops my accuracy considerably. If I fire slower it is nearly the same. but in a self defense situation I will not have time for that. Is their any other pistols you would recomend? That is easy for IWB

  • @MrDavy234 How much less accurate is it? Going from 3 inch groups to 6 at 10 yards isnt gonna make much difference in a self defense situation.

  • i have a question, when i enter boot camp, later will i have to buy my own guns myself, or will they supply my equipment

  • @Jayjus0116 ? Are you for real or just trolling?

  • @BrokenRRT im going boot camp

  • @Jayjus0116 I ask the same question as "BrokenRRT" are you for real, or trolling?

  • Hey Nutn Do you know Why Walther/Taurus and some other manufactuers produce Magazines that don't sit uptight aginst the frame that there is a little space between the frame and the magazine.

    Thanks

    Clayton

PS can a 1911/Sig 238 be caried loaded with hammer down and be safe to carry?

  • @clayton758 No, not round in the chamber hammer down, it could fire if the hammer was struck.

  • Whats up with the pronunciation? (Stewie...Family Guy : over annunciation of the "H")

  • I'm just going to have to go to the range and fire some of these I think. It seems like these smaller guns would get lost in my large hands, but I need something smaller for CC in Florida, where jackets and bulky clothes aren't really an option.

  • Shot this gun at the range today! Bit more recoil than the springfield XD sub com and glock 26, but I'll give it up for size. About 1.04" width compared to the 1.2" of the springfeild and the glock 26. I love my springfeild, but I conceal the dang thing without notice or looking 10 lbs bigger. It's harder to conceal guns in "GIRL" attire, but I didn't want a dinky pocket gun or any cal under 9mm. As a girl, who conseals for PROTECTION, the Walther PPS is the way to go.

  • @IRS45ULTRA He's addressing the real concerns of the most probable users of the pistol. I see no problems with him basing his review around the needs of the users in mind.

What the heck is your problem with LE and Sheepdogs?

  • @IRS45ULTRA

After getting on youtube, I found that sadly, MOST people are rude, and selfish inoramouses like yourself. If you don't have something nice to say, then...SHUT UP YOU!!!!!

  • @IRS45ULTRA You are one of those "Cops are pigs" guys, arent you?

  • the pistol look bad ass...

  • @Nutnfancy, I really like your video reviews on firearms, knives and gear but I have always wondered how come you don't like pistols made by Heckler & Koch and Walther. You tend to favor Glock, Sig Sauer, Kel-Tec and Kahr (all exceptional firearms). I carry an HK USP Compact .40 S&W and a Walther P99AS so it is a bummer to listen to you give a thumbs down to both of these firearms.

Is there an HK or Walther model that you like?

  • is there anyway i can get a silencer with this pps???

  • my name is Bond, James Bond PEW PEW!

  • Man you have helped me sooo much in my firearm purchases! thank you very much!

  • what is just a little lower caliber than the 9mm

  • @slifer8910 I would say the .380 would be -slightly- smaller than 9mm, since it's technically 9x18mm Makarov. I've fired the older Makarov PM in .380, and there isn't much of a difference besides slightly lower recoil and muzzle velocity. (In comparison to a SIG P226, which is 9mm Luger)

  • @Ianwrym a .380 is actually a larger caliber than a 9mm (9mm/(25mm/in)= .354 in ==> .354 caliber.) However, the 9mm has a considerable more amount of powder forcing it to reach higher velocities. So to answer slifer's question in a more direct manner, while .32 caliber is the caliber (bullet size) down from 9mm, .380 is the round below a 9mm from a view point of lethality assuming you hit the same place.

  • @garzac7815 I did not know that. Seems that i learn something new everyday. :D but i agree on the lethality factor. I've personally witnessed my father (Ex- US Army MBT Crewman) tag an intruding Coyote out at our former ranch from about 200 yards with his SIG P226 while moving, and i'd personally attest to the fact that the Makarov PM could not possibly due that under light crosswind / moving conditions. I merely assumed the .380 would be smaller because it physically appeared to be stumpier.

  • they glow

  • How do you make a PPS? Simple. Use the following recipe...

    1) Take Walther P99

    2) Walk into kitchen.

    3) Smash with frying pan until ugly.

  • @drewnwalker Lol.

  • @drewnwalker I'll have to agree. I like walther, but I don't like how this pistol looks.

  • @drewnwalker Cosmetics do not equal performance.

  • @Warpath2198 Never said they did. Ugly equals ugly.

  • @drewnwalker lol..... continue to smash it until it doesn't work and you have created a high point.

  • @SpartanCombativesGrp Yup, just not so damn heavy as the hi point. I have a dang hi point and....For shame. Don't get one even if your broke and need a gun, your taking you life in to your own hands if you do lolz . I had to smith my extractor after 400rd. There is no filed strip on it, just hours of disappointment and flying hammers.

  • @jordantheok you should trade your hi-point in on a........ can of green beans.

  • @SpartanCombativesGrp actualy hi point can take it back and shove it in there .....any way i got a ruger sr40 so i can fell safe lol 2000+ rds no jams, lite, thin, low recoil and accurate off the top of my head. welp good talk, i have to go dig a shallow grave for my hi point

  • @drewnwalker

Wait a minute, first of all you think what a gun looks like matters? Secondly, you actually think it "looks ugly?"

    It's a tool.

  • @LibertarianAtheistDR It is a tool. Thank you captain obvious. It's also still ugly.

  • @drewnwalker

Yeah, you may think it is ugly, perhaps I do too but it's funny that you actually care about that.

If there is an awesome gun that you shoot well and is very concealable for you, why would you care whether or not it "looks pritty?"

  • @LibertarianAtheistDR I really don't care to debate jack shit. It's a youtube video. It's funny you're trying to get into it with someone on youtube. It's an ugly gun. That's all I said. Never said anything about function. Get a life.

  • @drewnwalker

You're the one that took time out of your day to say it was an ugly gun. And you keep replying.

  • @drewnwalker that is simply profound

  • @drewnwalker THAT'S A WOMAN'S JOB!

  • can you do a review of a dessert eagle?

  • This is absolutely one of the finest pistols I've ever owned. Extremely accurate and comfortable to shoot. I'm left-handed, so the paddle-style magazine release is wonderful, once you get used to it. I have upgraded mine with a BT stainless guide rod but it's otherwise stock. I did have 2 ftf's with it initially, but I hadn't even cleaned off the break-in grease, and I was using very dirty ammunition, just to see what it would do (reloads). 350 rounds later, nary a hiccup. Very much a Glock.

  • what is the blank round you keep in the chamber? what is that called?

  • @jaxkewl snap cap

  • on alot these gun videos its advertising "the 9mm wont save you" and it gives the link but it doesnt go to the actual article. anyone know how to get to the actual article?

  • Dude, how the heck you say a 300 dollar crappy Kel Tec is in the same category as a 700 dollar Walther? A gun review by someone who hasn't even shot the thing yet IMO is worthless. Go shoot the gun before you review it.

  • is there a chance of u doing a HI-Point .45 or .44

  • @jokemaster383 obvious troll is obvious.

  • Any chance of a Walther P99 review? All the ones on youtube are of airsoft guns, hard to find an indepth review on here. THANKS!

  • haha, the intro is actually pretty fancy :P

  • Very Nice review. Lots of info presented here. I prefer 40 cals but that would make a very nice 9mm. I plan on buying one of these and a HK P2000 SK.

  • H&k VP70?

  • nicely done. One thing that should be mentioned at the end when bringing up the topic of price. You say that your paying for the name on the side of the gun "Walther" ...err, that all depends on which side your looking at. The other side is clearly marked Smith and Wesson Springfield MA.

  • i have a pps gun too

  • i have a pps gun too

  • How come you have not reviewed the walther p99? if you can i would like to see one :D

  • I just can't get over how hung up you get on the Walther and H&K style magazine releases that are on the bottom of the trigger guard. They're so much easier to use! Don't try to use your thumb... use your freakin index finger! SIMPLE! An innovative design, that makes it look like you can't adapt to new things. It's not rocket science dude.

  • @ItsNoha Can you drop the mag one handed, no, thats the big thing.

  • can you do a review of the B&T TP9? very few reviews are on youtube of it

  • Hey Nutn, can you do a review of the Taurus 709 Slim?? Looks like a good option to the Kel-Tec PF9 but would love to hear your data points. Love your videos!!

  • Seriously though, how can you possibly review a gun without trigger time on it?

  • @knoxbreezer as long as he doesn't talk about how it shoots.

  • @knoxbreezer Read his talking points and tell me which he couldn't cover without putting rounds through the pistol. Of course having time behind the trigger is preferable but it isn't necessary for much of the review.. even more so for an "initial review" as nutn has labeled this. Try to keep up.

  • @knoxbreezer He may not have trigger time on it but he has a lot of experience with guns of all types. I would take his word over someone who has shot this gun a 1,000 times. You outta see his other vids. While we all have our own opinions I can safely say that his opinion reigns over many others.

  • @knoxbreezer he does it just to get views since he can bum any gun from impact guns

  • @knoxbreezer are you assuming it is going to do something magical that he might miss? Do you reckon it will do something OTHER than propel a projectile out of the barrel from expanding explosive gases? I would declare from extensive training and usage of handguns that an experienced shooter can relay a great deal of information about the ergonomics and aesthetics of a firearm without shooting it.

  • Can you ask nutn to throw together a best of concealed carry pistols review?

  • I like your reviews. But respectfully, you have to stop pushing that glock is the best on your viewers. Just my opinion.

  • @jsdubon82 It is the best, its what you need to compare everything to, so you can hopefully find somthing better.

  • is this similar to the walther p99?

  • VeryVeryVery good video, i like the PPS more now xP

  • Nutn I appreciate your mentorship and trust your judgement and reviews completely . Thank You

  • Just wanted to bring up one point i think you missed on this gun that I thought was a big hit on the pps, when you take the backstrap off it will not shoot. I don't like this at all. So if you brake or lose the backstrap you have a useless weapon. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the great vids. Codemanod.

  • you put 6 from 10. Let me ask you: if the price of PPS would be in the same level as mentioned Kahr PM9, what place in to your scale this gun would get? Same 6 or higher? Unfortunatyelly, in my country Kahr is not available and PPS costs 859$, same as Glock 26.

  • OMG i wanna touch it so BAAAD

  • @EriCesC1

i have bigger gun for you to touch

  • looking for a review on the m&p 9 subcompact. love your vids keep up the good work!

  • I'd also like to request another tabletop/run'n gun review of the Walther PPS.. This vid was just so preliminary! Shoot the crap out of it and give us your almighty word! haha. Conceal carry it for a day or so too. It's really nice in the waist line. Not an ankle holster. It''s a little sticky (the action is still a bit rough) from the factory, but after 400 rounds it's nicely smoothin off. Give it justice holmes! VALUE GALORE for the price. Come to Tulsa's U.S. Shooting Academy and let us know!

  • I know I speak for alot of people when I ask. Can nutn PLEASE do a part 2 with some range time

  • my dad has one and well it should bea caled a single shot but i put his ammo in my glock 23 hell yah shot that ammo up like it was candy ot a kid

  • Hey Nutnfancy, Great work on the project! Loved the 'where the air is thin' vids. One question, when you mention the weights of handguns are you including a full mag. or empty?

  • 007's next new pistol to add to his PPK and PP 99.

  • How does this compare to the Springfield EMP 9mm?

  • i like the walther

  • hey can you ask nutnfancy to do a review on the full metal kahr pistols ? thank you !

  • I am a glock guy but this review IS bullshit in some aspects, why would you compare the pps with a glock 19 ? Its smaller than a glock 26.

  • Walther has gotten away from a lot of their really good handguns. This PPS makes me think glock rip. Walther's guns used to be really good, but they have lost a lot of value in my eyes.

  • the PPS reminds me of a tiny glock

  • i have an airsoft of this lol

  • that walther is the epitome of build quality, especially when compared to the pf9 which happens to be the worst looking keltec in the lineup. IMO, the keltec pf9 looks as if someone designed and built it in a garage with limited budgey. i bet those little guns are comfortable to use in SOB carry which is a system i'm looking to put together. god bless nutn and all his loved ones. keep up the good work.

  • Nutn, great review!! I have been watching your vids for a while. We (Sticky Holsters) make a CCW IWB holster for this gun. Might be worthy a look for you CCW peeps.

  • can you review the walther ppk

  • I prefer the PPS over my STI Escort and G27.

  • Great video on the Walther PPS. @ pyrotech123456. If you are thinking about purchasing a Walther PK380. DO NOT!! It is a piece of junk!! Made by Umarex which makes air pistols. My Walther PK380 had multiple fail to extracts brand new out of the box. I will sell it, if I can, once Smith and Wesson returns it from repair. Go with Kahr pistols. The Kahr P380 or Kahr CW9 or the Kahr P9 are great!!

  • Had nutn done a review of the walther pk 380. If not can you ask him to do one. thanks Veri.

  • @pyrotech123456 I passed along your request. =) -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy that looks like a rubberized slide. wouldnt work well with my homemade hidden magnetic holster. looks great tho

  • Sub compact pistols are not for me...My hands are huge and have to use larger pistols : /

  • Comment removed

  • @Lalaimass one holds 6 round mag and the 9mm holds 7.thats it!

  • @craigostl if ya make the first shot count thats all ya need :D

  • what is the difference between a walther pps.40 and a walther pps 9mm

  • Judging by the presentation, I take it Nutnfancy is not into the heavier weight & larger size compared to the PF-9 or Glock 26 but I actually had a smile sneak on my face when I heard this. I've been looking for a back-up to my Glock 22 but the Glock 27 is just too thick, the PF-9 is too light, & both have too short of a grip(I'm aware & not interested in the magazine extensions), but this PPS seems more fitting for my liking(including the disassmbly similar to the Glock unlike the PF-9)

  • I currently own a PPS. I just wanted to put some more info that I didn't hear this guy talk about: Recently, I put 100 rounds, and for a 3 inch barrel it is very accurate; I was shooting 3 inch groups at 35 yards. Also, the magazine release is for an effective two-hand combat grip. Instead of utilizing your trigger hand, you will utilize your support hand to release the magazine. Lastly, the back strap is also a safety key, that, if you release, will lock the firing pin.

  • I am going to buy my first handgun...was convinced the glock 19 was it but I was wowed by this video.....now I got to check out this kel tech pf9.....thats a good looking gun. Do you know the proce between this and the 19? Thanks dude!

  • @mulderjack46 Glocks tend to go for around $500 while PF-9s seem to go for around $260. If I may also mention it seems you could have better control from the trigger, fuller grip & slightly more weight of the Glock 19. Both allow for tactical lights, but the lights for the Kel-tec are around the cost of the gun. However, admittively, the Kel-tec's warranty & good customer service is worth noting for long term reliability. Otherwise, nutnfancy has a vid on the PF-9 you may want to see.

  • @mulderjack46 I need to correct one of my claims. The subcompact lights that I believed are "around the cost" of the PF-9 is incorrect as I've found I was judging such a concept on laser/light X2 combos; for just a tactical light, I've seen prices as low as $120-130.

  • What is striker fire?

  • @logiebear107 It's a pistol design which employs an internal striker mechanism to detonate the primer. In operation, the pistol is normally in a partially cocked condition. Pulling the trigger completes cocking the action and then releases the striker mechanism to fire the pistol

A comparison is to hammer fired mechanisms like the 1911 to the striker fired mechanisms of that such as the Glock. An internal striker aids in making the rear of the handgun to be snag free in comparison to a hammer

  • I hope that he does a vid on the Sig 250 Modular guns and the NEW Taurus 708,740 slims I'm looking to get a Taurus Pt709 slim as a EDC gun. Thank you and keep up the great work. I'am also going to get a compact/subcompact XDm-40 Im really stoked about geting one just not sure which one.

  • I owe a PPS as my DC its awesome..you just need to mantain it well.

You forgot one or two things about the PPS.

One is, if you take the backstrap off the gun can't be used. So you could take the backstrap of and leave the gun out of the safe and still nobody could shoot the gun whatsoever.

The second thing is, 7+1 is not true... there is a 8 round mag with extention Third, the gun shoots very very accurate, if you don't hold the gun wrong.

  • I owe a PPS as my DC its awesome..you just need to mantain it well

  • Veri,u gotta talk him into it-more handgun vids. he's been promising them 4ages.we TNPers aren't asking for much.1 would suffice 4now. he promised the p229ages ago.in my previous com it sounded as if i was asking 4a lot. sorry. just tossin ideas around.

  • that pps is sexy.i wanna carry a pps not a glock.i'm sure pps in nylon IWB would work.i want nutn 2 do vids on slim s&W 9s, xd subcompacts, ccw in 40, defenders, double stack 45s,357glock,sig229,or holster vids. basically ccw+system 4us working sheepdog civilians/parents. if not,a vid purely on ballistics and loadings.been watching his vids 4ever b4 ppl copied his style. like his vids for attention to technical detail, fluency&eloquence. great job nutn. i still sayTNP shirts would sell great.

  • nutn should totally review the beretta px4 storm subcompact

  • is this airsoft
