Notice how Akuma is the only character in this port to have all his animation sprites, including his backwards walking animation cycle. If only Capcom used the CPS2 sprites for everybody instead of just Akuma, it could've been more than just a upgraded SNES port.

downleft (crouch) for 2 seconds + downright (still crouching) + downleft (still crouching) + upright + kick + punch while pressing towards the enemy's direction.

or in easy mode (press select) AB + punch while pressing towards the enemy's direction.

That and I am starting to use the Arcade Stick more often so I am trying to adjust how good I am on a controller on to an Arcade Stick

I have always struggled with characters that require rotation moves because I can never find a d-pad (or arcade stick for that matter) that is big or comfortable enough to pull them off.

Because of that I shy away from Ryu, Ken, Cammy, etc and use Guile, Vega and Bison.

I can never pull off Vega's super move, even with the 'easy controls'. Thing seems to stick for some reason. :( I'm using the GBA cartridge in my DS - is this the reason why? I've tried every combination. Can anyone help?

I can do it on DS as well, I just use normal mode and it goes like this:

crouch with down and left for 2 seconds, while still crouching with down press right, press left again while crouching, then (assuming you're in the left corner of the screen) press up and right and kick, then punch when you're near the enemy.

Mind you, it's hard on Vega, Ryu, Ken, Akuma and Sagat.

If you do forced reseting and/or reach Akuma in Arcade mode (which freezes) you get the scores all screwed up. The numbers go crazy.

Having enough points gives you this battle in "Time Attack". Play through Arcade, Survival or Time Attack games to gain more points.

Try to get 6-7 perfects without losing in Arcade mode, it's no use though, the game freezes at that point.
