How To Update The Gypsy and Cricut Firmware

Awesome tutorial. I was wondering is there any way to download the books from the cricut carts to the Gypsy? I thought I saw someone do that and that would be great because I have a hard time seeing the images on the Gypsy even when I zoom them, the book is easier for me. Thanks and Happy New Year!!

great video but as I was updating my gypsy it froze and now I can't turn it off and the sync says connecting to device and doesn't do anything else. What are my options?

It depends on which cricut expression version you have as to what color the buttons will be. I have one from Fall 2009 that is dark blue and it has blue lights for the buttons.I'm not sure about the other button colors for the cricut fashion colors, but I'm betting they match the cricut.

I went through the update. Checked the version...and it still says I have to update before linking my cartridge. All worked except 4 cartridges. What do I do now?
