gsp hasnt faced anyone with anwhere near diaz's bjj....i hope the fight happens just cuz it will be interesting...but nick's standup is way better so i could see gsp takin him down and riding it out like he usually does, but nick is always lookin for the submission so he coulld easily catch him if gsp wasnt careful...i do believe that they are the best two 170 pounders

its a valid argument, but i would still go with diaz, hes taller and stronger, makin it a little easier to do damage from the bottom, plus his seems a little slicker

I was thinking Penn would have better BJJ than Nick, but Nick is much bigger and his bottom game appears to be much sharper than BJ's. So I suppose there is a larger chance than any of his other opponents that GSP will end up subbed. Still, GSP is GSP, and there's a reason he's been top of WW for years.

@bob1978amon can't compare a submission to Boxing. 2 vastly totally differing, unique things. I'm a fan of both MMA and Boxing, and I know people that would rather watch Boxing or even Muay Thai than MMA, they think its boring. And more power to them. Boxing is a precise, technical sport which takes true patience to really appreciate. And Oh yeah, Cyborg totally left himself open for that armbar and was done like dinner.

Overall, it was 2 competitive rounds between these 2. Cyborg had his moments with the leg kicks and the heavy shots, but it was more of a case that Diaz was baiting him. He finally got him to get a takedown, and that pretty much killed any momentum Mr. Santos had, because there was no way Diaz was losing after that.
