They take about 15-20 shots on goal per game, which isn't too bad. Letting a goal every three/four shots isn't an decent NHL goalie. They score from slapshots from the blue line. It seems he's great at breakaways, but simple slapshots, it's like he lets them go through. I know he's a butterfly goalie, but still.

No, Brodeur is a stand up goalie... at least in reality he is. Most old timers like him are stand up goalies. And to fix your problem, turn up the difficulty to superstar, the goalies won't play like idiots.

don't be naive. The captain is a person who leads the team, not necessarily the best player, or the most skilled. Wether he goes and talks with the ref or not, he is the captain. Otherwise he would not have been named the captain, and he would not have the 'C'. There are still some limitations making it difficult for a goaltender that is the captain to come out of his net or wear the 'C' on their Jersey, but only because it's not an everyday thing.

Looks like the same shit as 09. Seriously, all they do is "refine" some aspects of the game, add new rosters and remake the interface. Maybe the should add in the Endorphin human-physics engine (the same one as in GTA IV) so that those shitty pre-animated hits look better. Furthermore, when my player takes a shot the puck should just leap out from under the stick like its shot from a gun, I want realistic shooting mechanics. Furthermore, the puck shouldn't be magnetic with the ice.

Fans look alot better! Fifhting looked really fast... idk if thats is because the sped it up or something but it looks kinda weird. Board play with be fun to use to slow the game down and make passes with ur feet. The one leg lift fake shot is sick!!!! If only ea would make so sometimes the players woul shoot off one foot like in the real nhl, that would be cool. Cant wait for September, so i can get my hands on this game
